Okay well, your first sentence is both enormous and a very cold open. By the time I got to the end of it, I had a rough sense of how you were trying to frame things but as it is, it's like being hit by an unfiltered info dump of a past era of the band right off the bat. Splitting it up into smaller, more digestible sentences, and prefacing the whole thing with a short statement explaining Craig-era DCD's relationship to this album would do you all sorts of favours. The fourth paragraph talks about 4-5 separate things over the course of one sentence; this could be expressed much more neatly. One sentence for Travis vox, one for Swan vox, one for Swan guitar, one for each other band member maybe?
I'm a big fan of a conversational tone in reviews and random asides that at a little colour when these things work but I think you take this a little far (the Jonny Craig is an asshole / Kellin Quinn stuff, say). These points only really work if the rest of your review's tone and direction are clear enough that going off-piste for a sentence or so doesn't derail things. Try tightening up on the basics first.
You throw out some pretty bold and/or vague points without backing them up, which tends to make your argument seem a little shaky. Sure, all reviews are glorified opinion pieces anyway but there's a difference between coherently unpacked opinions and bitesize Hot Takes can't be overstated. Stuff like "dance gavin dance just weren't there" definitely needs a bit more unpacking, say - you could have ended that whole sentence on "kurt off his vocal ability" and it would have been a pretty succinct summary tbh
You also analyse the album in what we call a track-by-track format, which isn't necessarily a bad thing but will likely get crit for some people because you haven't come up with an original structure. Best way to make up for this is to make sure your analysis is on point. Ideally, analysis will summarise the album's content as concisely as possible and then comb over it, break down what works/what doesn't/why etc.. The analysis on this review is very much on the summary end of things; outlining the songs' composition and throwing in a few adjectives of emotion is all very well, but it doesn't tell the reader that much about why the album works or why they might listen to it. Always good to keep these things in mind - as a rule, if you're not telling the listener anything they could find on Wikipedia ("the next song is the last song on the album that goes on for 5 minutes and 12 seconds and is basically a final track to an excellent album), something's up.
Also would it hurt to throw in a few capital letters now and then?

Is Will Swan a person, or is swanning kind of like a cross between sweeping and noodling the guitar?

Anyone who writes this shittily is never going to write a decent review no matter how much useful feedback they get. Unless youre like 12 years old or something, then keep on trying, but if youre an adult and you wrote this, just stop. Its embarrassing.
