Brief Bio
The Bouncing Souls are four guys that grew up in New Jersey riding BMX, drinking beer, and bbeing girl crazy. They started their career on Chunksaah, making their own 7"s, then moved onto BYO, and ended up on Epitaph, who they released their last 5 records on. The Bouncing Souls was the first album they released on Epitaph.

The Good
Well lets start to say that the Bouncing Souls are unlike any other band i've heard, they're amazing! Well the album starts off with maybe my favorite track on the disc, Cracked, and just keeps getting better. This album has a mix of different themes: the more serious[and i use serious quite lightly ;) ] (kate is great, single sucessful guy), the more jokingly (shark attack, the toilet song, east coast! **** you!) and even a very kool instrumental (the screamer). In my opinion, this album is all killer, and no filler.

The Bad
There's not much bad i can say about this cd, just when i thought music started getting stale, i found the bouncing Souls, and brought a whole new perspective on music to me. One of most noticable (and maybe only) bad thing i can say is that the cd is short, at just a little over 26 minutes long. So just when you're really getting into the cd its pretty much over. otherwise a very good album.

My Rating
I felt this to be one of my top 3 cds i have, its so good i moved it to the front of my cd case. This is one of those cds that comes along once in a while and is like nothing you've heard. I'm gonna give this album a 9.5/10 for the simple fact that it was so short, cause if this cd was a lttle bit long, it would certainl get a 10. This is also my first review and i'm open to all critisizism and help. :thumb:

A little more depth would be nice in the review.

I'm a big souls fan myself, so good job! The Toilet Song is one of my favorite random songs, and my friends would spontaneously sing Shark Attack whenever the mood struck them. ;) I prefer How I Spent My Summer Vacation, myself.

I think all the albums are great especially Summer Vacation and Anchors Away. You should check out their 2-disc dvd Do You Remember 15 Years of Bouncing Souls.
