Review Summary: Punching Blackened Death Metal!!

This is a real, Death blackened thrashy metal of an album. Released 2016, by what seems to be Die-hard Metal maniacs from metaltown Gothenburg, Sweden.

The album reeks of old school slamming Death metal with a slight glimpse into both Black metal and Thrash territory. Songs like Baptized,Assasinator and titel track sounds furious with Devil Lee Rot growling, screaming as the music has a furious production allover.

The musicians don´t go over to much into any technical or flashy mode, just fast and furious. Fuzzy raw riffing, and a drummer that hits hard as the songs has a good flow throughout this record.

"Harhateillä" being a key song on this album, starts very slow with a melodic intro and it is mostly sung in Finnish. The thing that this album lacks is variation, but on another hand it's one of those no-brainer records before a party kinda vibe.

If you like early Nihilist,Grave,Morbid,Grotesque and those "harsch" DM-bands in late 80s, early 90s. Then this album is a definitive keeper. Some Punk riffing like in the old days and like 8-track demos sounded. Though the mix is kept high, and the vocals/guitar sound a bit up front.

"Blood 666" is only about 25-minutes long, with catchy riffs and some grindparts here and there. Boss HM-2 lovers, enjoy!

Favorite songs: Baptized, Harhateillä, Overflowing Hate, Blood, and Karkass.
