Review Summary: RATM fans may be left happy with it or disappointed with it

Prophets of Rage is something no one really expected and when it was announced people were not happy that Zack de la Rocha was not in it but that doesn't mean Prophets of Rage is bad I'm really happy that they took the opportunity to make this, they have a good mix of people from Cypress Hill and Public Enemy and of course Rage Against The Machine. this EP is really good but it should of been better and fans of Rage Against The Machine may be left happy or disappointed.

So is this EP any good? The answer is yes it is its filled with two new songs and three live tracks which the two songs are well done and brings back the sound everyone has been wanting for 16 years, the lyrics are well done and the instruments are amazing just like they were year ago not to mention the Rappers B-Real and Chuck D are great choices for this and since B-Real is from Cypress Hill and Chuck D is from Public Enemy its a perfect mix you also can't forget about DJ Lord. The only song that I felt was unnecessary was the Beastie Boys No Sleep Till Brooklyn cover which is renamed No Sleep Till Cleveland which is a live track and I really didn't like it if they kept it out it would of been better.

Now with all that being said there is some flaws in this EP. I really think this EP would of been better if they added more new songs sure two songs are good and fair but with all the stuff going on in the world right now this would of been perfect for a lot of new songs hell if you take out the No Sleep Till Cleveland and add a new song this would of been a much better EP but this band reformed in 2016 so I can't really complain that much about it that's really all I have to say bad about it.

Overall this is a solid EP I love that this sound is back and yes I know it would be amazing to have Zack de la Rocha in Prophets of Rage but I'm uncertain about that I'm not saying it'll happen but I'm not saying it won't happen you never know, fans of Rage will enjoy this they provided two outstanding songs and the live tracks are also well done but it makes you wonder what else this group can do and I'm excited to see what the future holds for them.

One more thing is If you guys are also wondering how they are live they do a excellent job and I think fans will enjoy them live.

I agree, but fuck if they can't put on a show. Def one of the best concerts I went to last year.

I feel like this was written by somebody really young or with English as their second language. You need to seriously reread what you wrote multiple times before you post it.

Of course they put on a show, they are 75% RATM. But still, band's a poor travesti.

'' this EP would of been ''

I don't know how it sprouted in people's minds that this ''would of / could of'' is correct, when it's so obvious it doesn't even makes sense.
