Review Summary: Just save yourself. Cause it's too late for me. Cause I've lost everything.

I watched her die, slowly but surely and it changed me. I fell into a fit of depression. I secluded myself from everyone and everything. I played video games for hours on end. I stayed inside. I didn't wanna see any of my friends. I wanted to sleep all day. To be alone. I wasn't in a healthy frame of mind. Loss can do that to you. Someone so close, now gone.

It was important to me then that I hear this "I'm stuck in a coma! Stuck in a never ending sleep! and some day I will wake up and realize I gave up everything." Alcohol tinged melodramatic issues. An inner struggle with religious upbringing starts this surreal album that mirrors a suicide note. As the album builds to the protagonist killing himself. It teeters between being post-hardcore and alternative rock with a dash of emo sprinkled in for good measure.

Buddy, whom speaks through this character is fed up with God, life, society, and love. He tears apart everything happening in his life with a bitter sense of range. Whether it be his therapist scamming him, his love leaving him, or his sexual nature being brought into question, Buddy isn't afraid of what comes out of his mouth. He knows only how he feels, and he will emote that to you with his rather decent vocals and screams.

Senses Fail bring their best to the table throwing every card they have up their sleves. While admittedly the album doesn't offer a lot in terms of variety it has some great inventive guitar riffs some throat bleedingly intense screams and great solos such as on Sick or Sane (Fifty for a Twenty)" Senses Fail practically reinvents themselves on this album, with much better production that the debut, and much more diversity than simply just being pissed at a break up.

Still Searching while not perfect is one of the best offerings from Senses Fail and is definitely something you don't wanna miss out on. I mean come on that chorus on "Calling All Cars" alone is worth a buy.
