Album Rating: 2.0 | Sound Off
No offense, but to me your review relies too heavily on genre-naming ("They all also contain bits and pieces of either indie rock, pop rock, chillwave, and ambient.") and listing off shallow complaints ("I don't know. Whatever it is, it's just terrible.") without approaching any profound reasoning for why you feel like they fail at changing up their sound, which in turn makes this record pretty terrible compared to their previous efforts. Try to go more in-depth about your perception of what makes the songs bad and maybe put a little more diversity into your writing, too, because on here your descriptions tend to repeat themselves.
"The songs aren't all that different from each other."
"Lyrical themes aren't all that impressive and aren't all that different from each other."
