Review Summary: True Love

As I sit in my bedroom drunken and swollen after a a spirited display of gluttonous alcoholism I feel compelled to write. I don't know if it's the steak or the blueberry wine or the delicious grocery store cheddar cheese kicking in but I am in love right now. True love. True love with a dreamy 2015 shoegaze release that sounds like it should've been released in 1995. The band responsible for my current emotional barrage is Cattle. They're from Japan and create really ***ing emotional music that sounds like cotton candy to my ears. The singer reminds me of Dolores O' Riordan for some reason. I don't know why but her voice is soothing to me. The guitar wizardry reminds me of a much simpler time. A time when I was young and all I wanted to do was go play outside and throw a ball around with my pals till it got dark and my mom called me from a distance for dinner. Alright, enough ***ing around, it's time to write about this wonderful band Cattle.

Cattle put out a beautiful EP this year called Somehow Hear Songs and I must say you have to listen to this. It tugs on all of your emotional heartstrings with it's stunningly nostalgic take on mid 90's shoegaze and dream pop. You have six songs here and it's an incredibly pleasant experience from start to finish. Everything from it's soothing female vocals to the bouncy guitar rhythms will send you into a tranquil haze of positivity that just cannot be ***ed with. This EP's musical aura is as optimistic as it is authentic. You feel genuinely good when you're listening to this sweet band play with their angelic hearts bleeding all over the place. The atmosphere, driven by positive vibes, heartfelt vocals and vintage shoegaze mannerisms will find a way into your itunes collection immediately. I don't really have anything else to say. I'm drunk and in pure bliss. Thank you for reading this and I hope you enjoy listening to Cattle.

Yeah. I had a green Chile grape wine the other night. Life is good. I'm thankful to be alive to be able to appreciate this.
