Review Summary: Without a doubt my favourite acoustic album of all time. and for good reason.

When i first discovered Dallas Greens' solo effort i was caught in the hardcore scene and didn't have time for anything lacking breakdowns. this album changed my life in so many ways. from the opening "Off By Heart" all the way through to "Sometimes" Dallas never lets go of the emotion that bleeds from your speakers with each passing moment. Wether you are down or up, this album can speak to you.

the sombre melodies of the first few tracks gradually make way, and you are left with a message.. A message of hope. Although with the first few listens you may not be able to see through to the message Dallas is portraying, but after numerous listens, every note, every melody sings in a whole new light.
At the time of this albums release Dallas was struggling with confidence in his own voice. I firmly believe that with this album at the very least laid some of those concerns to rest.

10 years on and this album still sings its beautiful songs to me everyday, a timeless album full of timeless melodies and timeless lyrics. "if i was a simple man, would we still walk hand in hand" the song "Sometimes" has always been the standout on the album for me, the beauty of the message being portrayed, told by the soft voice of a man equally gifted with the ability to write some of the most pleasing acoustic riffs i have ever heard.

if you want an album that will uplift you and make you wanna dance around the house this isn't the album for you. But if you are willing to give it time, it will reveal all of its beautiful secrets to you, and trust me those secrets are worth listening too.

Hey dude, just as a primer, you should really look through this review and work on the punctuation errors that are littered throughout. Things such as capitalization at the beginning of a sentence, or simply capitalizing "i's." Parts of this review are good, but this reads largely like a rough draft.
