Review Summary: I hate Luke.
I hate country music. So much in fact that I wanted to give this a spin to see if country could get good. I was wrong Luke "Puke" bryan is back with his best album yet. Yeah you read that correctly. Im not joking, this album, as sucky as it is, is better than his 4 first albums.
Kill the Lights reaks of mediocrity and i just hate every second of it. I want my money back so badly so i can buy the new FFDP album on Vinyl.
"Kick the Dust Up" sucks. It's badly written. The lyrics are bad. it just reaks and reaks of immaturity and that other bullcrap that is so existent in country "cuntry" music today. Like really Id perfer Nickelback over this dumb stuff garbage. The immaturity and terrible songwriting ability of Puke Bryan is shown over and over, time and time again. and here it's most evident as his song-writing reaches its lowest mark yet.
I hate "Strip it Down." it sucks because it's such a bad song. it just talks about dumbass country boys with their stupid disgusting flannel button down shirts and stripping ugly ass girls because they think their so tough and cool with their silly and sissy wrangler jeans and hats and boots. That's not country. Biscuits and fried chicken are country.
"Razor blade" think its so cool making a comparison to self harm. well news flash, self harmers are the most intelligent people around because they know when stuff's going down, they know how to emotionally connect, and Luke singing about a girl and comparing her to a razor blade doesn't do it right.
I can't believe I bought this. I hate it. and now i have no way to get rid of it.
