Review Summary: There is no antonym for the word "Jackpot", and Chingy comes nowhere near falling into that definition.
Every year for Christmas, me and a few friends do what we like to call a "amazing gift exchange", where we do exactly what the title suggests; we give one another amazing gifts as a service to one another. Not only did I get this CD as a gift in one of these exchanges, but it was. Wow, what a combo. Amazing find, Aaron. When I decided to give it a listen, I opened the case to see a disc that had "Jenny's" written on it in blue marker. That's an extremely promising start; someone with amazing taste in music returned this CD, another reason why it is so good. Since I promised my friend I'd write a review up after I listened to it, I put it in and re-realized how amazing this album really is.
There is an infinite amount of redeeming qualities to this LP, and the first is the first track "He's Herre" One of the reasons is because of the instrumental, which is phenomenal. Aside from the first track, there's so much more one could say about this record. It's memorable because it brought everything to the table. It becomes easy to distinguish between the songs because they are amazing. That is, until "Holiday Inn" comes up and adds even more to the album with appearances by two well-established rappers, Snoop Dogg and Ludacris. Luda's verse is everything to write home about. After that, it's back to the same old grind. Which is amazing.Fantastic lyrics with amazing to mind-bending instrumentals fill the entire length of this album. It's just amazing amazing amazing music. If that's what you're expecting out of this album, then you'll be thoroughly pleased, because that's all it is.
Snoop and Luda bring this album to unbelievable heights. Thank you for this CD, Aaron.
