Review Summary: It's not that long haha, but it's here!
Jack Lambert asked me to review this EP, as he's very familiar with my work involving music. I have never written a review before, but I'm down to try new things. When I played this, I immediately thought of a band that I work with here in Richmond, Virginia, called The Concussion Theory. It's sad boy music, and I ***ing love it.
However, they're recording could be better. Ya vibin? Like, if they want to sound like an angry and melancholy garage band, then they are spot on.
This is something that I would definitely recommend to kids that like a little twist of EZ in their pop punk.
Well, I don't even know exactly how to categorize this. It's the same exact problem I have with TCT. Are they pop punk? Are they EZ? What? I honestly think it's a bit of everything. It's literally like the melting pot of COMMON music genres. Also, it's really up to their fans to determine what their sound is like. It bothers me a bit, tbh. I know that these guys classify themselves as pop punk, but, it's very melodic. If I wasn't straight edge, I could honestly see myself smoking a bowl while this played in the background. Sometimes I like that, but sometimes I like listening to music that makes me want to jump around; Joyce Manor, Knuckle Puck...etc.
