Release Date: 1999 | Tracklist

The first of Ozric's records to feature a considerable trance influence, Waterfall Cities is another killer outing from these consistent instrumental rockers. Featuring a strong Shpongle influence, as well as the usual nods to Gong, Hawkwind, Mahavishnu Orchestra, and traditional Eastern music, what more could anyone want"

"Ch'ai"" is a good song for dancing, "Xingu" is for bong rips with Cells, Potsy and Insurrection, and the almost-title track "Waterfall City" will take you on a journey through time and space. "Aura Borealis" would fit right in a Metroid game, and "Sultana Detrii" is like a gorgeous sunset. Ed Wynne's guitar sound is an all-emcompassing liquid, and he dares you to take a drink. You should.

If you like to party, this is one to grab for sure.

Reminds me of Spyro the Dragon music. Endlessly fun and spacey.

I really love the albums they released from 1989 to 2000. Never a weak album and for me almost every song is very good.

They belong to my 3 all-time most favourite bands and thanks to them (many years ago) I got interested in more psychedelic music, be it rock or electronic (like psybient, psychill, psydub and psytrance).

Maybe their weakest in that timeline was Curious Corn but fortunately it got better after many listens.

Sometimes psychedelic music really helps me mentally through hard times when I'm unable to handle stress.

I really enjoyed Technicians of the Sacred, but haven't heard Shimmer into Nature yet. Might jam that tonight cuz I haven't listened to Ozric in over a year
