Review Summary: Texas in July repents for their sins

Texas in july's bloodwork is the redemption of their career. They started so flamboyantly but lost their way within the next few years. One Reality & The namesake albums were utter nonsense metalcore. It was very depressing. They showed great songwriting capabilities and technical proficiency in their first album which got lost in time. They got sucked out to the empty void of soulless, mechanical metalcore.

Bloodwork is like they are saying sorry to the fans.Excellent, creative, innovative & energetic songwriting throughout the album.Nothing unnecessary. The clean portions were handled beautifully by the band.Replacing the vocal was the best thing they could have done.Their current vocal has much more fierce screams. Its nothing like the monotonous, one dimensional boring *** you hear from every band out there.

The guitarists and the drummer has always been the power house for Texas in July. This time they surpassed themselves.Really top notch playing.
Overall a must listen album.I haven't heard music this ferocious in 2014

Bad review. Wow. Literally looks like you typed it in less than five minutes tops, didn't proofread, and submitted.

Fuck dude you have to put some effort into it.

I get that this is your first review, but this us no good.

Why are you calling it Bloodline? Why did you mention that you haven't heard the new ETID record?

I'd go through the rest of the mistakes in this review, but I'll just tell you to scrap this review and start over instead.

Not trying to be a dick about it, but it's pretty clear you put 0 effort into this.

Dhru, welcome to Sputnik, nice to have ya. Yeah definitely consider expanding on all your points in future reviews. Review is way too brief and unspecific. Cheers though man.

I learnt nothing about that album from this review. If anything, you probably talked more about their earlier albums than you did about the album that you were supposed to review.

Look to expand your review to (at least) 4-5 paragraphs, to start. Spelling errors, punctuation and other grammatical errors can always be corrected but when your submitting a review, it's turning in your importance on this site. I've only been on here for 3 months but trust me, if you don't show us that you have the dedication to critique (god.. that sounds so corny), you have no business in our world.

I'm not trying to be harsh, I'm just telling you from what I've learnt. I suggest either starting over or just have a mod remove this.

There's a community thread that you can submit reviews for proofreading before you submit it, I think. I would highly suggest doing that.
