After a depressing run of 2 disappointing albums, Embrace had no idea what to do next and felt empty. The McNamara brothers resorted to songwriting 10 hours a day to come up with something and save the band from extinction. 'Out Of Nothing' is the outcome of the McNamara's huge commitments and the album is full of emotions and swaying music that makes you feel very refreshed and you can really tell that the McNamara's really spent their time on this album.
'Ashes' is a blistering start of adrenealine that really launches the atmosphere of the album. 'Gravity' was given to Embrace by Chris Martin (Coldplay) and Embrace made this song into their most successful single release, with beautiful pianos and whirling guitars, the emotion given out is pure. From 'Looking As You Are' to 'A Glorious Day', we are given something very special to music with Danny McNamara vocals giving and out so much determination and beauty, it packs in so much emotion never given into an album that I have ever heard. After the song, 'Out Of Nothing', has ended after 2 minutes of massive feedback and musical destruction, I know that the band has given something out so special and meaningful to themselves. The album has reached to Platinum status in the UK and the band was very thrilled of it. I was and still am thrilled with listening to it.
