Release Date: 2013 | Tracklist

Recorded as a three-piece without the main vocal, German rockers This Is Ghost! Country have recently released their first EP, Dog Days. A great accompanying piece to their manic debut, the tracks here continue the stoner metal-meets-punk frenzy, as evidenced on 'Virus' or 'Blck Vcs'. The latter features solos from fellow labelmate Rischi, who plays in the classic hard rock act Heat.

The best moments Dog Days offers, however, are the scorching, 'Sell' and the bass-heavy, 'You're Not A King'. While these are some of the hardest tunes the band has recorded yet, they also show signs of improvement, the riffs feeling tighter and the overall result more powerful. This is a sample of how these guys are constantly progressing and the next full-length will surely kick a lot harder.

lol. there ain't much to say about the tracks, it's a fun listen, much like their debut. instead of posting a soundoff that no one would read, i wrote it as a (very short) review that will at least make some people check it out.

you should listen to Tekken, Ztupe, Smooth UnFoo and Bootes off their debut. they are good.

Mad.

They are a new band from Berlin. They play weird stoner/punk rock with some metal in there too lol. Cool guys. The debut's also available for streaming on their Bandcamp page.
