Review Summary: Conclusively, it can be deemed that this album may be in some regards, alike as far as the songs sound, but it offers a unique variety as well; lyrically and musically, which gives it the regarded "Tickle Me Pink" term rather than "Pop Rock" term. It is q

This album is spectacular for the genre it is portrayed in. It starts simply enough with "Typical", a serenade of a man who is trying to conquer his fears of being controlled and seduced by a typical whore, combined with an angst ridden nifty tune. After this, we are given the rocky and catchy ballad about driving through the evergreens and seducing women, but refusing to do it again perhaps? The lyrics are hard to derive in a sense, but I believe this is the best conclusion I can concise from it. Essentially, the individual definitely wants the person to "not to waste their time on them, because it's the wrong time, because he is in the game as a friend with benefits".

As we continue through the album, we listen to "The Lush Life" and "Madeline", which go as said; "The Lush Life= Expectations in fake personalities vs. individualism, which makes the person want to drown, hang their head down, and tell the person to leave them alone" and then we have "Madeline= A ballad about a dead girl, who the individual used to smoke cigarettes with until their throats bled and shared romantic interests in their teenage years, yet detested when she had 'no where to go'; finally leading to the conclusion that the individual misses the girl with much familiarity of her personal traits, yet characterizes her as a memory of nostalgia and deep relations; so much, he could turn back time to save her".

Take a breather now, this is only a 1/3 of the album....ok, let's continue. Next is "We Still Dance", which is a song about pretentious love and enjoying the ecstasy of a good night essentially; combined with a catchy beat, it's a nice cruising song personally.

As we continue, we have "We're Not Alone" and "The Answer", which are notably acoustic songs on the album. "We're Not Alone" talks about finding self-esteem in yourself, rather than finding self-esteem in other individuals, where as "The Answer" is talking about the realization of finding out who someone actually is that you had loved greatly or appreciated, which in turn tears you apart.

After this, we have "I Can't Breathe" with an almost ska like riff throughout the verses, which contingently talk about an significant other who uses you or subdues you to their will. In the end, the individual is rebelling through the chorus with the words 'I can't breathe. Your demands are crushing me. I'm trapped inside' which displays the individual's desperation.

The next tune is "Go Die", which displays an almost Dashboard Confessional-like sound, yet original rock riff. It's a song about the great pleasures of an relationship, yet afterwards you want the individual you associated yourself to die, due to the pain of nostalgic shock. Moving onward, we then have the "Besides The Others" which is the final acoustic song on the album, boasting of the individual's misunderstanding of how his significant other could be with him, when he is a conceited narcissist who is emotionally distraught and confused with his idiocy.

Finally, we have the song "Tomorrow's Ending", which was also notably used in tribute to the prior band's member, Johnny Schou, whom was the bassist of the band. It is about living your life to the fullest and showing confidence to the rest of your life, instead of filling your life with regret and sorrow. It also confides the ideals of morality and whether or not the individual can defer if they've been good in their life or not, had the world ended the very next day.
