The assertion that the life of a 'theoretically pure anterograde amnesia sufferer' can be analogue to
"-Amnesiac opens his fridge. It's empty. He decides to go buy some groceries. Blink. -Amnesiac walks into a supermarket. He doesn't know why is he here. Blink."
is deeply rooted in misinformation regarding pretension and bias; Anterograde memory loss is usually reversible, not withstanding dissociative trauma to the temporal lobe and areas in the pre-frontal cortex (percipience / cognitive organization in relation to possibility) frontal cortex (fugue state, 'vegetable', non-attention). These areas are noted as 'procedural' in the execution of quotidian tasks and of the likes, as well as mapping implicit memory schemes, impeded by retrograde rather than anterograde damage because psychotherapy lends a definite hand to cognitive improvement and quality of life. For former patients, however, hypnosis may not open authentic pathways and the undesired formation of a
theoretically impure pseudo-memory department is bound to occur... well headed to leave the patient disoriented, optimist and uniformly delusional, these logs are not overcome easily. It's sad to imagine a branch of epistemological glue to tie existence together, many memory filaments patched together to adrift haversacks, anterior parts and without a precise disallowance mechanism (an inaccurate linkage). Such is the assimilation for the unknowing victim, PFC carrion, flowing against the stainless steel of time.
