Long,long time ago,one little boy was listening to the newest Metallica album "St.Anger"He was sitting in front of the TV(because of the DVD PLAYER)and he called his dad:"DAD!You gotta come and hear this masterpiece!"Dad came,stood in
front of TV and listened as the song "Frantic" was playing."This is crap,son."Dad,you are crazy."Go and listen "Dark Side of the Moon",son.That`s a masterpiece."Dad,you are always yapping about this album.That`s so boring.Stupid Pink Floyd is boring."Dad looked at his son,wanted to say something,but he couldn`t believe his ears.He left the room.The kid just kept listening Metallica.That stupid kid,was me.
Later,later,I was sitting in my room.I had nothing to do.I wanted to listen to some music,but I had nothing I haven`t already heard on my hard disk.Then I had a flashback of my dad talking:"Go and listen "Dark Side of the Moon,son.That s a masterpiece."Quickly I googled "Pirate Bay".I typed in "Dark Side of the Moon" and put to download.I grabbed a drink,ate a sandwich,and album was downloaded.
It was late in the evening.I took my best headphones and turned off the
lights.I pressed play in my Winamp player."Speak to me/Breathe" started.Weird basses in the background,some weird sounds,some guy saying "f*****g use" and weird laugh.Weird and scary in the darkness of my
room.Then somebody screamed.I jumped."Oh,it just the song."Then background
instrumental continued on.I wasn`t impressed anymore.Song was kind of interesting but nothing that special.I waited till the end.Then I saw "On the Run" words in my player.Now a weird footsteps and dark-electro music.What`s so good about this?I skipped it like an first-class idiot.Then I heard weird clocks.It scared me.I started turning around.It`s a gooddamn song!Heartbeat.Keyboards.This wasn`t a joke anymore.Scary.Moody.7 minutes of weird trip.I still haven`t felt that "something".And,finally,something changed my mind.Next song started with a piano,and weird musical background...Okay,what`s this?I was about to press next,and at 1:07 a woman started screaming/singing...WOW!!!This is genius.When it finished,I was still under impression.I made a pause.I went to the bathroom,and I was in a
weird mood.This music is weird,but it has something!I came back.I pressed
player.It said "Money".Bass background with sounds of coins and cash
machines.Guitar.What s this?"MONEY.GET AWAAAY!"I heard.Okay.I listened this
song till the end.Wow again.And for the next 2 songs I felt nothing special.Then a song number eight started...Some lunatics.Grass.Lunatics again.Then,the hall.I was seriously scared.Weird lyrics.CHORUS.Phenomenal.
And the last track.Wow.After two more listens in a row,I was high.Litteraly high.I smoked weed
couple of times,but this album was:BOOM!
First listen:Dafuq!
Second:This is interesting(all the tracks are now making sense)
Third:I want to listen to this every day.
Fourth:Are there Dark Side of the Moon cereal?
Now,a day doesn`t pass I don`t listen to this album.And now I understand my
dad.Thank you,dad,for pointing me,what is true music.And now I understand 50 million people that bought this album.
For people that say that this album is best to listen while being high...
You don`t need to be on drugs while listening to DSOTM.
DSOTM is a drug.Undisputed masterpiece.
