First before begin, I'm a beginner that is why i'm choosing somewhat easy albums to review, now lets get into business,,,
A 3?? what?? why man?? this album is terrible, well I have to agree and disagree with you, why you may ask, I agree with you if you take this album seriously, if I take this album seriously then my rating would have been 2 or 2.5 but I didn't take this album seriously which is the key here.
To clear things out, imagines an 80s B rated horror movie, when you watch such a movie you don't expect to see another god father, or awesome directing or even awesome acting, on the contrary you watch these sort of movies for fun, to see the cheesy acting, the bad directing and the ridiculous plot. so iDOS! is like a b movie, an album that you should not take seriously, it a fun punk/garage rock album which is made for having fun and partying around, if you put all of this in your mind then you will enjoy this album.
Every thing about this album is cheesy and corny, take a look at the songs titles, F**k time, Ashley, wow that's loud. The lyrics are also cheesy as hell: -

Come on for the love of god with titles and lyrics like these how could you take this album seriously??
The album is full of catchy songs that will do a great job in live shows, one of the highlights of the album here is stray heart, which is one of the band's best songs generally speaking. Another good and fun song is Ashley, a fun and catchy song with an awesome intro and a decent solo, make out party is also good, with somewhat fun lyrics and a nice solo, F**k time is better than expected, i don't know why didn't they start the album with this song instead of the useless intro "see you tonight". On the other hand there are useless fillers in the album, which is not strange since they wanted to release three albums in 3 months, for example "see you tonight", "Baby eyes" I didn't like this song at all, i skip this song when I listen to the album.
So lets wrap it up, if you are expecting another "American idiot'' then i'm sorry to tell you that you are going to be disappointed, this album isn't "Dookie" or "American idiot", its a fun and corny album that succeeded in its purpose which is as I mentioned having fun, get entertained and cheer up for a while. So instead of taking this album seriously imagine that you are about to watch "Return of the living dead", cheesy and ridiculous but fun,,,,
