Review Summary: This album is so much better than most give it credit for. What do you do if you're a troubled youth dropping out of school at 17 and feeling angry at the world? Rap about your problems, of course! Eminem has provided this angst-ridden rage with a very classic album, perhaps arguably the best hip-hop debut since "36 Chambers" or "Illmatic". Eminem weaves violent, misogynist lyrics that are darkly humorous, which involve such hilarious situations such as ripping Hillary Clinton's tonsils out and feeding her sherbet. Eminem was known for his hit single, "My Name Is" which showcases Eminem in a nutshell. This opening track shows Eminem's twisted sense of humor and witty wordplay. This is an album that would shock your Christian relatives, morally upright conservative parents, and Tipper Gore-ripoffs alike. Our famed poet, Marshall Mathers has a very comical and nasal voice which perfectly fits the music. He was also known for his freestyles with his childhood friend Proof (R.I.P) while parked in his truck in front of his childhood home on 8 Mile Road. This is a wonderful album that will have you rolling out of your chair laughing at each and every quotable that comes out of Eminem's mouth.

way too short. seen many posts in discussions that are longer than this. not badly written, or bad/irrelevant information so much, just too short to be considered a review imo. won't neg.
album rules. rock bottom is honestly one of the best songs ever.
| | | Agreed, Rock Bottom is so good
| | | Well, I like it because I can barely read as it is... so the shorter the better ;D
