Review Summary: my last opinions is try this album out! You might like or dislike it..but listen too it. You would be suprised on what this talent band can bring to the table. So my overall rating for Thrill Seeker-4/5

Thrill Seeker by August Burns Red! Do i like it? Thrill Seeker came out in november of 2005 by Solid State records..the album got produced by Adam D. and it's their first full length album. Thrill Seeker is one of those albums for new the ABR fans that nods their heads...because it doesn't have Jake Luhrs on vocals. That's when you realize this album is excellent! The album is techinical and has a lot of melodic parts in the songs. It has fast pace-heavy drumming by Matt Greiner, great techinical riffs by JB and Brent Rambler, nice bass playing by Jordan Tuscan and crushing vocals by Josh Mcnaness. The album starts off catchy with a lot of great breakdowns and ends with more of a slower side with the song The Seventh Trumpet and Shot Below The Belt. I love how this record is damn melodic with really instumention that fits into the breakdowns. Thrill Seeker is also a great album for anybody who wants to get into old school metalcore. The album has a lot of nice chord progression and techinical moments but overall the chugging style makes this band awesome. It would actually be a great album for any music fan. My favorite tracks are Too Late For The Roses-because of the fast paced drums, great guitar parts and kickass breakdown. Speech Impediment-because of the awesome intro and the amazing production and lyricss Wish Full Of Dreams-great song with a lot of nice chord proggresion and it's strongly well written Barbarian- kickass intro with the drum fill and it makes me hyper.and Your Little Suburbia Is In Ruins-the most popular song off this album, what can i say the song catchy as shit with a really nice breakdown. There is no bad track on this album.. i enjoy every song off this album. This album is solid and it's defitnely one of the best in their discography. Thrill Seeker is defintely a metalcore classic it has everything a metalcore album should have. The lyrics are really wriiten with a lot of meaniful sayings. The lyrics would catch on to you. The production also fits really nice in the record it sounds clean and crisp. That makes it enjoyable.

Matt Greiner-drums
JB Brubaker-guitar
Brent Rambler-guitar
Jordan Tuscan-bass
Jord McMannes-vocals

Definitely needs to be elaborated on why this album is great, instead of saying everyone is good at what they do. Also a bunch of syntax errors.

Your summary is supposed to be an overview of your review, not a statement literally saying "hey check this album out cuz I think its awesome." Plus, you really don't need to put your rating in your summary. It is already right up there next to your name.

Try breaking this huge paragraph up into 3 or 4 smaller ones. Here is kind of a basic setup you can use.

Have an intro: general statements about the band/album.

Then 1 or 2 paragraphs about what you like and don't like, throw some song examples out too.

Then make a closing paragraph that summarizes what you have said so far. A lot of times your summary can come straight out of the closer, or at least some form of it.

What you did here kind of sounds like an August Burns Red fanboy gushing over one of their releases. Its hard to take it seriously. I hope none of this sounds dickish (I didn't mean to if it does) and that it helps you work on your writing skills.

No problem. Once you get the hang of it you can start developing your own style and things will come more naturally. Good luck!
