Review Summary: Overall i do believe this album to be a must buy if you are a Three Days Grace fan, and if you aren’t Why? you definitely should listen to this album and if you don’t like it at least you tried!

After their previous albums: Three Days Grace, One-X, and Life starts now the band have accumulated a huge fan base around the world and with their albums achieving platinum status in Canada and the USA they are expected to make an amazing fourth album, am i right?

They did.

Transit of venus is the latest album from Three Days Grace and truly, i haven’t put it down since it’s release on the 2nd of October as the vocals of Adam Gontier and the skill of the rest of the band really come together with the whole vibe of the album. My favourite songs on the album are:The High road, Operate, Give in to me, Give me a reason, and Unbreakable heart.

The High road has some lyrics that really stand out to me in it “Standing in the dark, i can see a shadow. You’re the only light that’s breaking through the window” and i think that this shows that Three days grace are staying true to who they are with this sort of lyric style unlike so many bands that are selling out these past years **Linkin Park**

Operate is a kick-ass blood pumping song similar to Animal i have become. I am really pleased that they have released another song like this because none of the songs off of Life starts now gave me the same feeling as these two songs. Break and Bitter taste came close but i do prefer Operate.

Give in to me is a perfect cover of Michael Jackson and to me it is better than the original. Adam Gontiers vocals are at his best in this song… trust me give it a listen, your mind will be BLOWN! Although he doesn’t show the range of which his voice can perform (like he did in Last to know) this is definitely his best on the album.

Give me a reason is a nice slow, calm song that almost puts me to sleep every single time i listen to it may that be in bed, or walking down the road! Other lyrics that stand out to me from the whole album come from this song “Give me a reason for disaster, and i’ll be happy ever after. Give me a reason i wish you would…” They really reach out to me and just give a whole rush of emotions at once, that and it’s catchy!

And last but not least is Unbreakable heart. This song has probably had the most replays and it just has the same vibe as the title song of One-x which for me was a great song also. The way the vocals suddenly jump into action from the second verse never gets old.

1. Proofread and spellcheck

2. Stop being a fanboy

3. Funny you should mention Linkin Park because TDG are doing the exact same thing on this album.

yeesh....you do know there's a tracklisting already provided for you? Just cuz you wrote a short review shouldn't mean you have to fill space with a double spaced track list.

Well in that case, whoever wrote this really needs to work on their writing skills

before being a main writer for this website of yours. This review reads very

awkwardly, and it seems like a very young and naive fanboy wrote it.

Pretty good album imo, especially for the genre.

But this review is borderline offensive. Never seen such an obvious fanboy

^You should listen to One-X if you like this one. It's only about 1.000.000 times superior, and one of the best albums in the genre.
