Review Summary: Album of the decade!!
My chemical romance are one of the best bands ever. If not the best band ever. They are so talented on their instruments. The guitarists are shredders no doubt about it. And the singer has an super high range 8 octave voice which can move mountains. Such great heart wrenching lyrics as well that strike a nerve with every word. This is possibly the greatest album ever and here is why:
1.Helena - A brilliant opener to a brilliant album. One of their best songs ever. 5/5
2.Give em hell kid - Another fantastic song. Not as good as the first, but damn well catchy. 4.5/5
3.To the end - I don't like this one as much as the other songs. I usually skip it. 3/5
4.You know what they do to guys like us in prison - One of the most creative and experimental songs they've done. And it works so well 4.5/5
5.I'm not o.k - Hands down, their best song. If you havn't heard this then you are stupid. It has everything you could want in a brilliant song. Heavy guitars, drums, and heavy vocals. 5/5
6.The ghost of you - This song is different from all the others but it doesnt mean its not good. Awesome song. 5/5
7.The jetset life is gonna kill you - I was shocked when i heard this. It is fantastic. 4.5/5
8. Interlude - I'm not going to give this a mark because it is an interlude
9.Thank you for the venom - With a title like this, you know the song is gonna be brilliant. No wait, fantastic song. 5/5
10.Hang em high - This song sucks. I can't believe they put it on the album. 2/5
11.It's not a fashion statement, it's a ***ing deathwish - There are swearwords in this song, which makes it even better than if there wasnt. 5/5
12.Cemetary drive - Another ok track, not as good as the rest of the album but slightly better than some of the album. 4/5
13.I never told you what i do for a living - The last song on the album has to be good, and this one doesnt dissappoint. The best ending to the best album. 5/5
Overall if you like music, then you should get off your bum and skip to the shop with a big smile on your face cos this will change your life and outlook on great music.
