Review Summary: In conclusion this album is a classic, it is easily accessible to most listeners fan or not fans of Radiohead. If I could critic the album for one thing it would be the song placement as it is not the best.

Out of the entire discography of Radiohead, In Rainbows is the perfect induction. By mixing and balancing styles we have seen throughout the bands LP’s, it capitalizes on a perfect mixture which will be appealing to most audience.

The album start to finish is brilliant as the opening distorted noises on 15 steps to Bodysnatchers catchy hooks. It is hard to resist the temptation to move your feet with the music as the album progresses on to Nude which is one of the best songs on this LP. Nude, forces you to close your eyes and forget about all the everyday chores and to simply float along. Weird Fishes is a treat is it introduces Ed as simple but great backup vocals. All I Need features Thom on piano which is a simple but yet powerful song.

Although one of the weaker songs on the album, Faust Arp capitalizes on the listener relaxed mind state after All I Need and gets the user launched off to the best song on the album, Reckoner. This song builds off the momentum of this other three songs and reaches its climax as a great song build up. From the famous lemon that Jonny uses to shake to create such a small but necessary element to the song without this shaker the song would not be as good.

House of cards features really good vocals by Thom, suggesting a lover in despair as his / her partner wants to be friends. It is a cycle most can relate too. Followed by Jigsaw Falling into Place, a great piece of music but the position on the album is questionable. I would move this song farther down to the start of the album. Videotape might not leave the album on a high note but the song will send shivers down your spine.

I would like to briefly touch about the B side of this album which is equally good as the main album. If you do like the album I highly suggest looking for the B side as songs like Bangers + Mash and Last Flowers, could easily be on the main album.

In conclusion this album is a classic, it is easily accessible to most listeners fan or not fans of Radiohead. If I could critic the album for one thing it would be the song placement as it is not the best.

not a bad first review. i'd recommend focusing more on the overall feel and sound of the album as opposed to describing each song individually. also, some of your grammar could be neatened up, but other than that, good job. this album is alright. i'm not really a fan of radiohead though.

I love this album but I've never heard any of the songs from disc 2. Are they worth checking out or are they mostly just throwaways?

the second disc is really only six songs, considering the MKs are transitional, under-a-minute pieces. but it's still worth a listen; a lot of the tracks are really good. my favorites are last flowers and 4 minute warning. i recommend listening to both discs back-to-back.

I'm a Radiohead fan, but I never listened to this album, really. After one of my friends said it was her favorite and told me to listen I really sat down and absorbed it. It's one of my favorites now too.

Never start a review with in conclusion

Never say in conclusion ever in a review or paper/essay, it's implied

This record was the final nail in the proverbial coffin. Radiohead, you fucking sellouts. You lost a lot of us old fans and now you're stuck with the mainstream lot & the hipsters. Hope you're happy having no soul Thom.
