Review Summary: An exotic gem, petrified in the rites of marriage, mourning, and music

From somewhere beyond the trees, over the horizon, you happen upon the peculiar sound of a thousand singing birds mingling with the cries of a thousand screaming cicadas. It's not the source you hear, but the debris of it's layered echos. Fade in ...The tide praises the shoreline. You long to escape the squeezing, binding jungle and throw yourself into that reverberating song of savage bliss. Fade out ... The silence imbues nature's voice with a mystifying, frozen static. The silence has a body, too.Â*

...Closer now, that song. It's subtle frequencies impact your body with the ominous strength of a tectonic romance. Metamorphosis...Â*A cocoon isn't reserved for the kingdom of insects. Human voices, sustained in a larger than life space, flinging you upward into the boundless bowl of the sky, into the church of the solar infinitude. You are the audience of it's magnetic ensemble.

Elevated and sustained, you peek confidently behind the fabric, probably that of silky lush sanguine, dividing you from the celestial light-bearing voices. No ***ing way... The chariot of a God dashing across a spoke of the Sun upon a barren night-field.

That phallus of lightÂ*
ExtendingÂ*
Through the hollow
Of your habitation
Forming a pillar
Made of smoke and light
The sound it makes
Resembles a Bulgarian choir
Lamenting in echo
Resolving in mirth

I'm shocked this got any traction on Sputnik but it feels good that it did. One of the greatest musical pieces that ever came out of here.

Also, the Ghost in the shell OST is a rip-off, yeah.

Pritouritze Planinata is one of my all-time favorite songs too. Indescribably stunning.
