Review Summary: Overall, this is an amazing album. Unqiue sound, very progressive, and worth a listen.

Dark Suns is a prog-metal band from Germany. They showed some very nice work in their previous 3 albums.
But orange is something different.
Unlike the first 3 albums, this album is clearly prog-rock and not prog metal. It's also their greatest album yet in my opinion.
The whole album was recorded in "live in studio" technic, and thats probably one of the things that makes him so good.
Brass instruments, the 70's-like guitar sounds, the rock organ solos and the weird time signatures give this album a very unique sound.
Lets go to a song-by-song review.

Toy-4/5
This song lives up to its name. The organ and brass make this song,it gives this song a very playful feel.
The song opens with a nice riff, that soon changes to a typical 70's riff.
After that opening, the song itself starts. Very progressive sound, created by weird time signature with guitar+bass+drums supporting the singing, while organ and brass instruments gives it a touch here and there.
Then the song goes quiet, with some nice guitar chords, and explodes into a beautyful rock organ riff which is supported by the guitar.
The song ends the same way it started, with that 70's guitar riff.
Very good song, and a great opener.

Eight Quiet Minutes-4/5
The brother of toy.
Much heavier sound than toy. the song starts with guitar sounds that goes into a nice prog riff.
After that a 70's riff, that supports the singing, starts the first verse.
The thing that really make this song is the rock organ, which add a very beautyfull line to the guitar.
After that, the song goes into a more quiet part.
The song goes into the prog riff after that, and than another verse. the organ Add alot of tension.
Another quiet part comes, more intense than the first one.
After that the song goes into a new section, rockish one.
At the end of this section, the singer goes into a beautyfull falsetto shouts. After that the song ends.
really good song, and super progressive.

Elephant-4.5/5
Less playfull than the two other songs.
The song starts with a very nice opening riff, and after that comes the main riff of the song+singing, which is really good.
After that there is the transition to the chorus, and the chorus itself.
The chorus of this song is pretty much epic. very good guitar work combined with epic falsetto singing.
Main riff and singing comes again, and after that a short guitar solo, followed by the chorus.
The chorus continues to get more and more tense until it ends with the same riff that started the song.
Awsome song.

Diamond-4/5
Very good rock ballad.
It starts with a nice riff, and goes into the 1st verse.
After that starts the chorus, which is very nice and have old feeling.
The 2nd verse is supported with a very nice clean guitar solo, and after that Comes the chorus again.
The song ends with the same riff it started.

Not Enough Fingers-3.5/5
5 minutes of the same quiet guitar line. relexing song.
The lines is good, and supported by the organ and bass.
Its repetitiveness is what makes it the weakest point of the album.

Ghost-5/5
The second (and better) half of the album starts.
The song starts with an AWSOME organ+guitar riff, and than loud-quiet-loud-quiet part.
Then it goes into the first verse. the verses are really nice and supported by organ.
Than, the EPIC chorus comes. the singer sings:
"Your alien hand landed on my skin
we embraced each other tide and became one
is anybody there? are you in my dreams?
how will make that i fear?"
The chorus is just beautyfull. and after that comes epic guitar line supported by the music of the chorus.
Another loud-quiet part, this time with singing.
Then the 2nd verse comes, much louder then the first time.
After that comes again the amazing chorus and the guitar line after that, more tense then the first one.
Than comes a break.all the instruments stop playing. and suddenly from the silent, comes a singing followed by a loud part.
The songs end with the same riff it started.
Amazing song.

That Is Why They All Hate You in Hell-5/5
This song is just... mind blowing, but hard to swallow. my personal favorite from this album.
The song starts with the chorus-EPIC falsseto shouts of the singer, followed by cheotic support.
After that comes the first verse. which is much quieter, but amazing.
After the first verse, comes the pre-chorus part. which is, like the rest of the song, amazing and tense.
The chorus comes again, followed again by a verse.
After that comes a nice, simple but effective guitar solo, which ends the song.
The song end with dissonances, which lead you to the next song, vaspertine.

Vaspertine-5/5
The songs starts with guitar playing chord, and a piano giving a very dissonantic supporting.
Very dark opening.
Then comes the first verse. which is quiet, dark and relexing.
Then come dark brass playing.
After comes a surprisingly lightened chorus, with a hopefull feeling.
After that comes another verse with a much louder supporting this time.
And suddenly, comes a break.
A single guitar plays the chorus, and then all ther other intruments join for another, hopefull chorus.
The song end with a very low note, which gives this song a dark ending.

Scaleman-5/5
Best riffage in the album.
The album starts with an awsome riff, followed by another riff, and then brass melody.
After that, only the piano keeps playing into a surprisingly quiet verse compared to the riff at the start.
The verse is relexing and beautyfull, supported by the piano.
Then comes the rock-ish chorus, which is very nice.
Another verse comes, this time a little more loud and without supporting piano.
After that comes again the chorus, followed by the best riff in the album-
a riff with weird time signature which is seriously epic, and ends the song.

Antipole-5/5
14 minutes song, longest in the album.
The song starts with a powerfull opening, that goes into a the 1st verse-pretty good riff+ singing.
The opening is repeated once againm followed by another verse.
After that, comes an EPIC part, with a beautyfull melody of the singer.
After comes wild rock organ solom which is really nice.
After that comse the chorus, which is just AMAZING. super powerfull.
After that, 3 minutes into the song, comes dissonantic guitar sounds,
ollowed by sad organ playing. the songs builds up slowly while the organ keep playing the sad melody.
This part is very relexing. the tension slowly build up, and explodes into a brass solo supported by guitars and organ.
After that comes the music of the verse, and after that EPIC saxophone solo, which is very dark and VERY tense.
Then comes the verse again, with some crazy organ and brass playing, and then it become just like like the 1st verse.
After that comes another organ solo, and suddenly the songs stops, and explodes into the epic chorus.
After that a super dissonantic sounds come, followed by relexing guitar playing that ends the song.
Maby this song is very long, but its so versatile that it doesnt get even close to boring.

1) Let someone proofread your reviews (if you don't have anyone else who could do that, ask some of the senior users here, or from the forums). I can easily tell that English is not your native language and there are tons of grammar and spelling mistakes here. 2) Track by tracks are usually frowned upon here because they are repetitive, dull to read and don't give a great impression of the album as a whole (what reviewing an album should be all about). Next time, go for a general, all-encompassing review format, where you talk about the album as a whole. Absolutely do bring out standout tracks and such, but do it in the aforementioned format 3) Always, and I repeat, always have a conclusion

Album is great, just like Opeth ditching the death metal influences to put out a 70's prog album, Dark suns do the same....but more successfully i think. Band should seriously get a lot more love round here, very solid discography
