!!! has been around since 2001. With two actual albums and three EP's. !!! has done a decent job. I own "Louden Up Now" and I don't like it that much, I really liked four songs and "Me and Guiliani..." was one of them. I took back "Louden Up Now." and bought this EP. The problem with !!! is that really try to make some songs good and awesome, but then some other songs on there album were half-assed and not up to full potential. This is why I prefer this EP a lot more than the album.

If you have never heard of !!! before they are a punk-funk-dance fusion type of band. Now I'm not that big of a techno or funk fan but I really like !!! because they incorporate some odd instruments (trumpets) into there sound. When you listen to "Me and Giuliani.." you don't have to dance. I don't have good dance skills therefore I don't really like dance music but when you listen to this you don't have to dance. Both of these songs get you pumped up and you just want to kick somebody in the face while listening to it. You can really tell that the band is having a lot of fun and they're really enjoying making fun music.
Now I know that some of you might have to complain about the lyrics, but for one I really don't listen to them. Nic Offer's voice sort of slurs or mumbles the vocals in a smooth way that mixes well with the music. Some of the bad lyrics are
" People always ask me what's so f****** great about dancing? How the f*** should I know?"
" Well the way I C it really doesn't really matter cuz it don't make no sense 2 all those mad manhatters."
Although I do not like the lyrics I just don't pay attention to them and it works fine because they are a little hard to understand and if you don't try to pay attention to them, then you won't hear them.
"Intensifider" is basically a dance song. This song is a step down from "Me And Giuliani..." but it gets the job done. It has more of an electronic sound and if you don't want to dance to it then it gets boring after the first few listens. I think they should have left this song out because there was really no use for it. There is nothing wrong with a 9:04 one song EP. Anyway the song is fun for a listen once in a while. There isn't many lyrics for this song except for "Feel, Intensifider."
Overall I think this is an average EP. This is a fun EP and "Me and Giuliani..." is a magnificent song. As for "Intensifider" it really isn't a good song and it sort of ruins the EP from greatness. !!! is having a lot of fun and they show great potential. If you like dance-punk-funk music or if you just like fun music then this is for you. !!! is smooth, jazzy, and just fun!
There are a few downsides from making this just an average EP. !!! should have just kept one song instead of throwing on a sort of useless track. I find this to be a listen to every twice a month EP. After I'm done listening to "Me and Giuiliani" I don't really want to listen to it again and again. Even if it is an awesome song I don't want to come back for more, once is enough. If I want something with lyrical depth, then this is the opposite of what I would like simply because the lyrics suck. I'm not saying that the lyrics ruin the song, I'm just stating that if you want lyrical depth don't count on !!!.
