Well this album is definately a big improvement to the great rock against bush vol 1 comp. This time there are 28 songs/different artists all showin how they feel about George.W.Bush.Same cover acept for its orange. Same point trying to be proven and nce again a dvd is included with the c.d but anyway first things first.
You get a great opening with Green Day's previously unrealsed Favourite son.And it just goes on from there really, some of my personal favourites of the album are Flogging Molly-Drunken Lullabies, Lagwagon-Status Pools and Mad Caddies-No Hope.
Included around the middle of the album are some live tracks from: Jawbreaker, Bouncing souls and Mad caddies.Another great difference from the first album is that you wont to skip a lot of songs to get the good ones, the album hasnt got any boring songs on it really. To finish the album off once again we have a acoustic song but this time its No Use For a Name-Fields of Agony which i have to say even as a fan of No Use its not one of my favourite songs.
As you may have noticed in the last album the booklet has a bit more than the track listings. Its starts off with a opening from Justin Sane from Anti-Flag.The track and band listings layout is awesome and then your in for another installment of 20 reasons to HATE BUSH JR. Also included is a 'Voices from around the World' section which is just lots of other people against bush. And all left in the book really after that is the dvd credits which brings me to the dvd.
The dvd once again has some serouis political shorts, some listemers might find these short movies interesting but others find them boring. I recommend you watching them. If political shorts are not your thing then there are some great comedy videos, including some hilarious stand-ups from Greg Proops and Patton Oswalt. Also there is a great comedy film called 'bush straight talk' starring Will Ferell. And finally the music videos. I would say Bad Realigion-'Los Angeles is burning' was good and the same for Through Riot-'With love,The Underground' but Alkaline Trio-We've had enough, Flogging Molly-Druken Lullabies and NOFX-Idiot son of a asshole were excellent.
To round it all up Rock Against Bush Vol 2 is one of the best comps ive ever heard. I like most of the songs on it and it has a good number of well known bands on it. I give it 4.5 out of 5
