This is one of the best underated albums of 2004. It's the third album by the excellent, the legendary: Hives. This band unlike The vines had a great post garage rock explosion Album. They really surprised me. This is the type of album that you listen to once and then listen to it two weeks later and your completely addicted. Here we go...

Abra cadaver: 4.5 *
This is the perfect song to start an album with. It has funny lyrics to get everybody comfortable but includes great vocals and guitar to also get you rocking. It's short but sweet.

Two- Timing touch and broken bones: 4*
great song. What in the blue hell does Two- Timing touch and broken bones mean? I don't even care this is a great song for many reasons. Its a perfect follow up single. Great song great video great everything.

Walk Idiot walk 4.9*
This is a great song because of the great riff. It was great that they released this as a single because it was very different to there past singles and showed the band wasn't just another Nickleback with two singles sounding the same.

No pun intended- 3.5*
This song comes on while your expecting a slow song and it blows you away. It makes you think the band has alot of energy. Probaby one of there good live songs.

A little more for a little you- 3.5*
This song is not one of the very good songs on the album. The riff kinda gets annoying after a while. The vocals are still great. Sounds like a broadway musical to me.

B is for Brutus 5.5*
This song is the best song on this album by far. This song should have gone up for awards and such. Great riff great vocals. The lyrics are good for a punk song. If your going to download hive's songs get this first.

See through head- 4*
This osng is sort of a filler we could of done without it but it has catchy lyrics and good guitar like most of these songs. Great finish. Sounds like Two- Timing touch and broken bones.

Diabolic scheme- 3.5*
This song is a song that shows that the hives are a versatile band that can use violons and can still sound like a punk band.

Missing link- 2.5*
In my opinion they should have switched this song for the b-side genepool convulsions. The guitar is ok but this song is justa song that would make you turn off the album.

Love in plaster-5*
I LOVE THIS SONG. Its one of the greatest songs on the album it has great lyrics. It sounds like they recorded the last songs later because the vocals sound different.

Dead quote olympics- 4*
This song has lyrics that show how much the hives just want to make you have fun. The lyrics make no sense but the one liners crack you up.

Antidote- 4.5*
this song is a great finnisher to a great album. Sounds like the credits after a party movie. The ouououou thing really fits with the guitar.

Like the suits or not this band is one of the greatest bands of this day in age. They remind me of a less popular stones. If you see this band live you will think every other show in your life will suck.

Pretty good review for a first. I cant say much about the hives. Only few songs catch my attention. Ill get back to give a user score later. Welcome to Sputnik.

Underrated? I've seen countless reviews that praise this album.

A bit more information on the individual songs and how they are composed would be good... Currently it's more "That songs good, thats bad" but not really why that is.

'A Little More For Little You' is the best song on the album.

Otherwise, not bad,

I enjoy listening to the hives every now and then, they are pretty different to most main stream bands at the moment.

I partly disagree, because although it's an awesome album, I think Diabolic Scheme and See Through Head are the two best songs on the album, and I was distraught when they didn't play the latter live.

A pretty good review but next time try to go in to more detail on the individual songs. I do disagree with your opinion on this album, however, I thought it was a fairly poor album.

I think Tyrannousaurus Hives is an awesome album. Very enjoyable to listen to, but the lack of slow songs might not appeal to the most music listeners. Pelle's hyper persona might even turn people off. But anyway, I love this band. Walk Idiot Walk and Love in Plaster's just the best.
