Jimmy Eat Worlds 2nd album Static Prevails is a great album.Its one of the best albums by Jimmy Eat World.I dont know much about their history but I know their a great rock band.If you want history and stuff,you can look at other reviews by Jimmy Eat World.Also this album was released in 1996 so im not sure if they had any singles or if music videos were out yet.Anyway,lets get to the tracklist.

thinking,thats all-This song rocks!!!!Unlike most the songs on this album,it keeps the speed and loud music.The verses are not as loud as the chorus but thats what makes the chorus seem awseame.Its a perfect song to start the album.Its also gives you a good idea this album is going to awseame.Great song!!!

rockstar-Two awseame songs in a row.Just like "thinking,thats all" is got rocking music and lyrics.Its also got softer verses but the chorus gets louder and rocking.But the song sound very simalar to the 1st song but I cant rate the song lower just because of that.So I will give this song a 10/10 too.

clarie-This song has a slow intro but then gets loud and rocking around 30 secounds.Still no let down,its another song with loud choruses and quite verses.Its a great song but maybe not a song that deserves 10/10.

seventeen-The great songs just keep coming.By now you might think im lying about these songs being so awseame but they really are great songs.This song is simalar to the first 4 songs so I wont just keep saying the same thing.

episode IV-This is maybe the weakest song on the album.This song just stays slow and boring the whole time and its one of few songs I will skip on the album.Overall this was a let down.

digits-This song takes ontill like 2 minutes to pick up.maybe if it didnt take that long to rock,it would be an awseame song.But it is awseame when it is fast and rocking.Its not a let down song like "episode IV"but not a 10/10 song like tracks 1,2,and 4.Still pretty good though.

robot factory-Awseame!!!! the song start with fast guitar then everything comes in fast.There arent slow verses or anything.The songs keeps its fast speed the whole time.Its a song that really stands out in the album.I think this song should of been the opening song.This song is to awseame.

anderson mesa-Right after you heard a awseame fast song.A slow song coms in an you skip it(onless you like slow songs like this).The song picks up a little around 2:40 but still not catchy.

Overall-This album was awseame.The songs sound the very simalar but thats ok.Your maybe thinking how I rated the song "robot factory" 11/10.That because thats what the song deserves and it shows you how awseame it is.
