Here's my review on Black Sabbaths fourth album im surprised it hasnt been done before
Line up:
Ozzy Osbourne-vocals
Tony Iommi-lead guitar
Geezer Butler-bass
Bill Ward-drums
Tracks:
Sabbath, Bloody Sabbath:
This track starts out storng and doesnt quite until about 2 minutes where it goes accoustic under ozzys awsome vocals then comes an awsome solo by Tony and the song gets heavy again.
5/5
A National Acrobat:
A lot slower then the last track but still rocks hard. The guitar riffs in this song sound awsome and Bill's drum fills kick ***. While this song not being very long seems to go on for a long time in the middle until the end where it picks up again.
5/5
Fluff:
This song shows that Sabbath arn't just about heavy metal. Tony does some really nice classical sounding stuff in this track. This track is very entertaining to listen to even though it wouldn't seem like it would be and it shows a great side of Sabbath's musician ship
5/5
Sabbra Cadabra:
This track starts with an awsome guitar riff by Iommi and an awsome sounding bass line by Geezer. Around half way through keyboards come in wich add an extra element to the song. Overall an awsome track.
5/5
Killing Yourself to Live:
Just like everytrack on this album it starts out strong and doesnt quit. I'm assuming this song is about drugs. This song has an awsome solo by Iommi. While this song is very good it doesnt really bring anything new to the table.
4.5/5
Who are you:
This is a pretty wierd song the main rhythm is made up of a synth?/synth sounding guitar not quite sure. Ozzy's vocals are amazing in this track. Overall a pretty good track
3.5/5
Looking for today:
This song starts out awsome and then at around 0:50 theres an accoustic part and then it goes right back into the song but it flows very well. The chorus is very good and catchy on this song. I like how the begginning of the solo mixes with the chorus then goes all by itself to end the song
5/5
Spiral Architect:
This song starts off with an awsome classical riff then goes into an electric riff and into the song. This is a pretty slow song but its an awsome one. Through the song there are viollins that add a nice element to an already great song.
5/5
Overall this is an awsome album, a must buy for any sabbath fan or even some one who has just heard one of their singles
