Fitting review. I don't get how people can actually listen to grindcore. I mean, I'm into a lot of extreme music (like Japanese noise) too, so that's not the problem. The problem is that grindcore doesn't have any substance. The "songs" don't have any kind of distinct character, aren't memorable in even the slightest way and are, for the most part, over before you can even figure out what's going on.
Maybe I'm ignorant or something, but I think it's the worst music ever made.

I actually want to hear this album, since I'm a fan of this band's recent work which is death metal with some grind passages. Apparently this album took the goregrind underground by storm, so idk. Apparently the reviewer isn't a fan of grind, you might as well have written a review for the entire genre if all you're going to talk about is how much the genre sucks. You may as well have written a soundoff.

This is an 18-track album, with a length just over that same number.
best part is the album is 16 minutes, not "just over 18".

16 minutes? Can anyone say EP? Maybe these guys have more musical ideas than Mike Patton but am I alone in asking bands to devote at least 25 minutes to a CD's worth of musical ideas? And maybe no more than 70 minutes? When you pare down Tool's albums to the good songs you usually have a good 50 minute album. I defy anybody to find a below 25-minute LP or an over-70 minute LP that was not too short/too long, respectively.

This isn't an under 25 LP, it's a 16 minute EP. And they dont have more ideas than anyone; it's toooooottaly repetitive.

I dont think people that have little understanding/appreciation for a style of music should review bands from that genre. They will obviously be biased or atleast not know the valid points for that band or genre. Someone else shoudl have written this review, and yeah i actually love this album =]
