Review Summary: Good album. Recommended for Senses Fail fans.

Senses Fail produces their most solid record yet with 'Let It Enfold You - Special Edition'. The tracks are excellent and sound very well-produced. Buddy's voice sounds better than ever and the whole album doesn't seem lackadaisical at all and very well-produced.

This CD contains thirteen tracks, all of which appear on the non-bonus edition of 'Let It Enfold You', and then five bonus tracks: one, a cover of the Suicidal Tendencies 'Institutionalized', another a Senses Fail original, 'American Death', and the other three acousitc versions of other tracks on the album: 'Lady In a Blue Dress', 'Buried a Lie', and 'Rum Is For Drinking, Not For Burning', respectively. It also contains a bonus disc filled with music videos and other things.

Tie Her Down:

A very strong track on the album. A great beginning to the album. The opening is very good and the drumming in this song is fantastic. Buddy's voice sounds excellent here. Sounds pretty well-produced.

Lady In A Blue Dress:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A good song, but not as good as the previous, in my opinion. Interesting lyrics, but the concept gets tired after a while. The guiatrs sound good here. Again, good, but not the strongest track on the album.
You're Cute When You Scream:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

These song titles get longer every time! Anyway, this is a great song. An excellent interlude starts at about 1:25. Again, Buddy's voice sounds great here. The somewhat sick title accompanies an, appropirately, equally sick song. Good song.

8/10

Buried a Lie:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This track is one of the best on the album and has very good instruments and vocals. Another song that sounds very well-produced. Interesting acousitc start into a very hard rocking song.
Bite To Break Skin:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

An interesting song. Cool guitar riff at the beginning. Good drumming in this song and the guitars and bass sound great in this song. Probably not the best track on the album, but a good song nonetheless. Good choruses in this song too.

8/10

Rum Is For Drinking, Not For Burning:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Good bass in this song. Very hard rocking. A good ending starts at about 2:03. The whole song is good, while not the best on the album. Cool guitar riff in the chorus, too. Overall, pretty good song.
8.5/10
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Slow Dance:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
One of the best songs on the album. Very catchy, and the choruses are great. Cool guitar/bass work and drumming here. There's not much else to say, except that this is one of the best songs on the album.
9.5/10
Choke On This:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

A really good song. At 2:00, an interesting interlude starts and goes to about 2:51. It sounds like it's about Buddy and an old girlfriend of his or somethng. Anyway, this is definately one of the best songs on the album and really good overall. Sounds very welll-produced and all the instruments here are top-notch.

9.5/10

NJ Falls Into The Atlantic:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A good song, another great song. Good drummign here and the guitars and bass are excellent in this song. Sounds really pure at the beginning (for lack of a better word), until about 1:02. And then again later in the track... you'll understand what I mean when you hear it. :D The choruses are great. Overall, a great song. Great ending, too.
9.5/10
Let It Enfold You:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Probably the best song on the album that was just on the non-bonus verison of 'Let It Enfold You', not the bonus version that this review is on. Excellent guitar, bass, and drumming, in this song. Buddy's voice sounds pretty good here (no pun intended). Overall, probably the best song on the album that wasn't on the special edition version of 'Let It Enfold You'.

10/10

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Irony Of Dying On Your Birthday:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

An interesting song. Starts out with a really raw scream from 0:26-0:29. Interesting song, not the best on the album. Buddy sounds really exapserated here; not that that's a bad thing.

6.5/10

Angela Baker and My Obsession With Fire:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Good song. Cool guitar riff and the drum line at the beginning is awesome. This song is one of the strongest on the album. Great song.
9.5/10
Martini Kiss:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

One of the best songs on the album. Great song, with great instruments. It's a really good song! :D Choruses are pretty good, and seem meant to be sung (or screamed) along with.

10/10

***The following songs appear on the Special Edition of 'Let It Enfold You' only:***

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Institutionalized:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

This song is a Suicidal Tendencies cover. It is a great cover, and has great guitar, bass, and drums all the way through. Even though it's basically just talking through the whole song, Buddy does the talking pretty well. It has an old skool-type of recording sound to it that fits the song very well.

10/10

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
American Death:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

An excellent song, one of (if not the) best Senses Fail song ever (in close competition with Let It Enfold You, Martini Kiss, and Institutionalized). Excellent song all-around, the instruments are great, it's catchy, and it's an awesome song. A must-listen.

10/10

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lady In a Blue Dress, Buried a Lie, Rum Is For Drinking, Not For Burning (Acoustic Versions):
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Good acoustic songs for a listen.

ALL= 8/10

Overall, this is a strong album. Without the presence of a slow song, the album seems faster, which is probably a good thing.

Recommended:

Tie Her Down
Buried a Lie
Slow Dance
Choke On This
Let It Enfold You
Martini Kiss
Institutionalized
American Death

Bad band...okay review

Don't recommend like 9 songs. That's like the whole album, almost.

Good for a 2 in one day deal though.

Rum is for Drinking, Not for Burning isn't too bad, but other than that its pretty boring.
