Strap yourself in and get ready for one wild ****ing ride! This album is AC/DC at their best! Non-stop rocking from beginning to end. This album features the awesome sleaze rocks lyrics that are AC/DC as well as the killer riff's and awesome solo's! This is a must have for AC/DC fans.

Thunderstruck 5/5
As soon as the song starts you can tell it's gonna rock, with the one handed lick that has become Angus's most reconisable move. Then we get into the hooligan chants "Ooooowaaaooowaaaoowawa" followed by the "THUNDER!" this song was just created to be played in front of thousands of fans singing along! From beginning to end Angus gives this song his all with the non stop lick right up into the solo, Brian Johnson's dirty sounding vocals make this song all the better a wickedly catchy song that you just wanna sing along with. "Yea it's alright..were doing fine.."

Fire Your Guns 4.5/5
Kicks off with a sweet sounding distorted riff quickly followed by a little screech by Brian then quickly into the fast paced verse. Another wickedly catchy chorus "Fire, and she's going down, FIRE" and so on. "Fire your guns!" Brian Johnson's vocals are the main focus in this song and he does a good job with them, but that's coming from someone who absoloutley loves his vocals. Awesome solo, but that's nothing new for an AC/DC song.

Moneytalks 5/5
"Come on come on, love me for the money!" Another awesome song you can't help to sing along with. This song sounds a bit happier, and more friendly than most AC/DC songs. Gotta love the intro/chorus riff, and the verse riff. This song is greatly written. Everytime I hear that Chorus I wanna sing, and the verse riff is so heavy yet so warm at the same time. A nice bluesy solo towards the end goes great with the song, then a different version of the chorus comes on right after the solo which has an awesome sounding transition, then we go into another chorus to end an awesome song.

The Razors Edge 4.5/5
This song starts off with a little solo doodle by Angus, then all the instruments kick in at once with a wicked, dark sounding riff. Then Brian's vocals which also sound dark come in mixing perfectley with the mood created by the the instruments. Then we go into the awesome chorus "HERE...COMES...THE RAZOR'S EDGE!" Then yet again another wicked sounding solo by Angus with over top the rythm part sounds great.

Mistress For Christmas 4.5/5
Good o'l perverted AC/DC starts off with a nice little christmasy sounding riff with the jingle bells in the back and Brian's voice "Jingle bells...jingle bells...jingle all the way" then we go into the verse, followed by another Catchy chorus. "I wanna mistress ..for Christmas!!" This is good old fashioned fun Sleaze Rock in it's best "Get a date...with the woman in red..wanna be in heaven with three in a bed"

Rock Your Heart Out 4.5/5
Awesome Rock Anthem "ROCK YOUR LITTLE ROCK YOUR LITTLE ROCK YOUR LITTLE...HEEEEEART OUT!" Nice intro, followed by a mainly bass/vocals verse until we get further into it and the guitar kicks in for I guess what could be called the pre-chorus. Good song encouraging the rockers to rock their little hearts out. I will brian...I will.

Are You Ready 4.7/5
Starts off with a quiet little building riff...then it goes silent and we come back with the band singing "ARE YOU READY!" Then the guitar and drums kick in followed by the verse, due to the awesome pre-chorus "Who all need it..who all need it...sung by the other members of the band" and the really awesome chorus! "Are you ready for a good time! Then get ready for the night life!" give's this song a .2 better rating then the last few songs. I just love that chorus...fun to sing with.."ARE YOU READY FOR A GOOD TIME!"

Got You By The Balls 4/5
Pretty generic AC/DC song...notice how I say generic AC/DC song...not just generic song, which is why it still gets a 4. Nice little chorus "She's got you by the balls" pretty sure it's about being whipped.

Shot of love 4/5
Another pretty generic song...nothing to special about it but it's AC/DC so it's still great to listen to. :thumb:

Let's Make It 4.5/5
Another great song to sing with "Let's make it! Dont waste it!"..good song to move your head and tap your feet to. Nice little solo...not the best on the album but it's nice, then we go back into the sing along chorus and the song goes to it's end slowly.

Goodbye and Good Riddance to Bad Luck 4/5
Nothing to special about this song...tap your toes to it "Goodbye goodbye goodbye...good riddance to bad luck." Yep.

If You Dare 4.5/5
A fairly good song to end the album on..I coulda done without the last four song's they just seem, great guitar during the verse and chorus. Another perverted song by the old buggers "Come outside and play..IF YOU DARE"

Overall: 4.5/5
This albums has many kick *** songs, but the four songs I gave fours seem like they were just their to be there had they not be there this album may have gotten a 5. Im not saying their bad song's, they just dont really stand out as much as Thunderstruck, and Monkeytalks. As I said earlier this is a must have for any AC/DC fan.

wtf is wrong with you guys?!?!? In my opinion razors edge is nothing compared to High Voltage, Let There Be Rock, Highway to Hell and of course Back In Black. However it is still a very good cd (thanx to thunderstruck;))

"they just dont really stand out as much as Thunderstruck, and Monkeytalks." i don't recall a song named monkeytalks, but other than that good job. I agree the last 4 songs are very weak.

I've always thought Rock Your Heart Out was the worst song on the album. I also think For Those About To Rock and Flick Of The Switch are better than this album. Although, I still enjoy The Razor's Edge. This Message Edited On 08.06.07

This review's more than a bit fanboyish. Your biases show through too much. It's normal for us to get hyped up about an album we're fond of, but you should try to use a bit of temperance when writing.
