Review Summary: The Band will never write anything that surpasses the passion and energy of this timeless debute.

Climbing up the ranks of Australian hardcore to out do thier mentors. Adelaides I killed The Prom Queen took the Australian Hardcore scene to a whole new level. fusing the high fueled energy and attitude of hardcore and the skill of such metal acts as soilwork and inflames. IKTPQ have created an album worthy of nothing more then a strong praise from its listeners.

The yet un original but still fantastic vocal styling of Michael Crafter. The unrelentless drumming of JJ Peters. Aswell as the equal to any world standard guitar team of Jona and kevin. The band tears it up on this cd. Fusing strong punishing breakdowns with melodic, aggresive riffs. The Album captures everything that was great about this band before they sold up thier ideals to flee for the metal scene, and booted thier frontman. Who no one can out do when it comes to killing it on stage. Capturing the power and energy of thier live show. There hasnt been a cd this punishing in recording quality since Day Of Contempt's often strongly underrated debute 'See Through The Lies'.

Each track stands on its own from the classic 'when goodbye means forever' to the jaw breaking pit friendly ending of 'my best wishes' to the soft acustic singing parts of 'Death cetificare for a Beauty Queen'. Gives the listener a chance to breath but get knocked straight back down on thier arse any moment with the well structured songs that never get old.

Sorry about the *** review no one had written anything yet and it needed to be done.

This album is good without the singer...his clean vocals are HORRIBLE, but he has decent death vocals that sorta make up for it. But I cringe everytime is Hawthorne Heights like whine come out.

Well, now you know why they needed to go another direction vocally. I agree, he was rather off key. His live performances though were faultless. They lost a little something in the transition to the new there, that they gained in pressed audio.

Can't have everything.

You gave a 5 to two IKTPQ albums. I call that fanboyism.

If you must buy something buy the new one. But peep my review and preview some tracks to see if you like it. Feel free to IM me if you want some songs as well because honestly saving your money for better stuff isn't a bad idea.

Someone asked if this review is biased. Yes, it is very biased.
A very poor album, I do not recommend it, nor do I recommend the band itself. Thank god they are no longer together.
Giving this album a 5 is ridiculous.
