Remembering Never God Save Us
I've always been a fan of Remembering Never. "She Looks So Good in Red" although it was claimed to be a 'joke'--lyric wise--was not a bad album by any means. "Women and Children..." impressed me even more. With "God Save Us" though, I can hands down say Remembering Never is one of the best hardcore bands I've ever heard. Many critique them on their use of "too many breakdowns." I highly disagree when it comes to GSU. This album is their most mature musically--their song writing has improved dramatically. The lyrics are better than ever--touching on topics such as Religion (of course), Government, Gay Rights, etc. It's refreshing to he
American Me Heat
The first time I heard a track by American Me, I can say that I hated it. I don't know why that was. After I finally
took the time to listen to the entire album, I can say I completely regret my initial judgement. This band is LOUD.
Their album, although short (20-ish minutes), is absolutely out of f*cking hand. Fast paced, pissed off, heavy as
s*it--this is what you'll surely notice about this album.
Again, some will say 'generic' or 'boring' but to that I say the following: f*ck you. For what these guys are doing,
they hit the nail right on the head.
This album is gold.
A Day To Remember For Those Who Have Heart
This album is outstanding. ADTR blends the elements of pop-punk/metalcore/hardcore into a sound that anyone
with a passion for any (or all) of the aforementioned genres can enjoy. Even if you end up not liking the album, or
the band as a whole, the fact of the matter is you will more likely than not, catch yourself humming one of their
riffs, chants, or melodies shortly after hearing it. Jeremy is an amazing vocalist, and in this reviewers opinion, is
much under-appreciated and deserves more recognition for his ability to provide rock-solid, from-the-gut, screams
and juxtapose them with some of the c
