Seether Karma And Effect
Seether's first full-length studio album with completely all original material since their release of Fragile as Saron Gas. Luckily, it did not let down, quite frankly it exceeded all expectations. The lyrics were so raw and moving that I never realized there was no swearing until I read an interview with them. It continued with the theme of Disclaimer (in terms of being applicable to my life). Had this cd been released instead of Disclaimer it would have still had the same impact on my life.
Element Eighty Element Eighty
I think Element Eighty is a highly underrated band, not given nearly enough media attention (i.e. no videos or radio play) but they have a really original sound and have very hard hitting lyrics, that if they played any softer would almost be emo. Their lyrics really speak to me and keep me up, they all factor into my life somehow
Seether Disclaimer II
It was a great album, everything abotu the first, the new mixes enhanced the songs and the rewrite of older ones and the addition of new ones....all around great...but they didn't need to put Broken on there TWICE! that's my only beef with it
Seether Disclaimer
A friend sent me "Fine Again" during a time when I couldn't feel and it made me feel, I started downloading their music and their music was the sound track to my life. I related to their songs and lyrics so well that listening to them become a need to live and be happy...it's what got me to want to start a band and create the same feelings in others...this album saved my life.
Rammstein Herzeleid
The first, the original, the one that made Rammstein, Rammstein. It ushered in a new sound, a new style.
With its aggressive hard hitting chunky riffs and angry. gutteral sounding lyrics, Herzeleid is by far one of the best metal albums to come out. Even though at first I didn't understand much of what was being said it still made me feel and it awed me how just a sound could make me feel and that I didn't have to hear what was being said to feel what Rammstein was trying to convey.
Nine Inch Nails With Teeth
I had never listened to NIN before I heard "Hand that Feeds" so I bought the cd...and the sound is unique and different...and even though something seems like it shouldn't fit, it does, it's mastery.
