Kings of Convenience Peace or Love
The two songs with Feist are excellent. I get that the guys are dedicated to the duo format, yet
I really wish Feist would become a more official part of the group. She always shines when she
features on their songs.

The album overall is exactly what you'd expect from Kings of Convenience: gentle, breezy, and
incredibly pretty & pleasant sounding. On first listen, I especially liked "Rocky Trail," "Love
Is a Lonely Thing," "Fever," "Ask for Help," "Catholic Country," and "Washing Machine."

Charlotte Gainsbourg Rest
First of all, I was pleasantly surprised by this album. I know I listened to one of Charlotte
Gainsbourg's previous albums and liked it, yet it didn't really stick with me. I honestly can't
remember much of it now. So, having listened to a lot of straightforward singer-songwriter albums
this year, I expected something different when I saw this album's cover. This might be a lazy
comparison, yet this album reminds me of Chromatics, as well as a more serious take on what M83
was doing on his latest album ("Junk"). Maybe also Air, whom I haven't listened to since their
album Talkie Walkie. Ch

Caracara Summer Megalith
"Summer Megalith" is the debut album for Caracara. It was co-produced by a former co-frontman of the band Modern Baseball. The music on this album is, as the band describes it, "distorted emotional music." I recommend checking out the music video for the song "Glacier" from the album, and that should give you pretty good feel for the band. I hope to write more about this album after a few more listens.

Radiohead OKNOTOK 1997-2017
The original is still incredible. It resonates as well today as it did 25 years ago. The remastering is great, noticeably bringing up the bass a little more in some songs. The 3 unreleased songs and 8 b-sides range from good to great.
