Legendary Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson has released a teaser for his upcoming new single entitled "Afterglow of Ragnarok". It will be released on December 1st, which includes a 7" vinyl and comic. This is his first solo material since 2005's Tyranny of Souls.
The track is part of his upcoming new solo album entitled The Mandrake Project, which will be released in early 2024.
Vision Eternel's never-properly released 2014 soundtrack/EP, Echoes From Forgotten Hearts, will see a Deluxe Edition reissue on Valentine's Day (February 14, 2024). The 23-song Deluxe Edition will be released as a double-tape box set and digitally through Dutch label Geertruida (Arms And Sleepers, Shocking Pinks, Odonis Odonis). The release features all-new artwork by Michael Koelsch (Elvis Presley, New York Philharmonic, The Offspring) and Rain Frances (Vision Eternel, Soufferance), and was remastered by Carl Saff (Sonic Youth, Guided By Voices, Balmorhea). Pop punk legends Four Year Strong have released a new song titled “Dead End Friend”. This is their first new song since the release of their 2020 album “Brain Pain”.
Iowa waste management receptacle abuse enthusiasts Slipknot have announced that they have parted ways with main drummer Jay Weinberg. No reason was provided in the statement beside that the band “is intent on evolving” and “decided to make a creative decision”. Weinberg joined the band after founding member Joey Jordison’s was unceremoniously kicked out of the band in 2013. Weinberg is the second member to leave the band this year. Keyboardist and sampler Craig Jones left the band earlier this year under similarly vague circumstances.
Featuring insanely prolific Belgian native Déh* on all instruments, black metal outfit Chaînes is streaming its kick-off full-length at its official Bandcamp location.
Titled Les Litanies des Chaînes, the release has been officially published by Amor Fati Productions, on October 31.
Chaînes is the successor of now-defunct entity Merda Mundi.

Norwegian folk collective Kalandra have shared a music video for their latest single 'Bardaginn'. You can watch it below.

'Bardaginn,' derives its name from Old Norse, meaning 'fight' or 'battle,' be it an internal struggle or a confrontation in the real world. The song explores the paradox of life's seeming meaninglessness, yet the inherent human inclination to fight for something, or someone, and how it's a complex and multifaceted aspect of our nature.
Everything Everything are back with their new single "Cold Reactor". The song gives us the first taste of their brand new album Mountainhead, out 1st March 2024 via BMG.
The track features eerie synth tones and driving new wave drums, making good on the promise of songs like "Kevin's Car" and "Jennifer" from their 2022 album Raw Data Feel.
