We'd like to thank everyone for all the time spent, the moments shared, and the memories made together. It really isn't possible to fully express how much this has meant to us over the years.

Xenoyr leaves Ne Obliviscaris 20 replies

Marc "Xenoyr" Campbell, harsh vocalist and founding member of Australian progressive death metal band Ne Obliviscaris, has announced his official departure from the band after over 21 years of activity. While being credited on the band's last album (Exul released on 2023), Xenoyr only participated on sparse shows in the tour following the album's release. The harsh vocalist position was filled in by James Dorton (Black Crown Initiate) in his absence over the past 2 years of touring.

Following a statement released on facebook by the band, James Dorton is now officialized as the band's new full-time harsh vocalist. Xenoyr cited exhausting long tours and mental/life health as his main reason for his departure.

Both parties are in great terms and Xenoyr is expected to participate in numerous other musical projects in the near future. Ne Obliviscaris is set out to tour for most of 2025 with new music on the horizon.
