3 Doors Down singer Brad Arnold has revealed that he has been diagnosed with stage four kidney cancer.
He broke the news through his Instagram on Wednesday, stating that it was stage four clear cell renal cell carcinoma that has metastasized into his lung. He says that he is "sincerely [...] not scared of it at all" and for listeners to "lift me up in prayer every chance you get".
The band has cancelled all of their upcoming tour dates and has updated their website with Arnold's video message.

Stoner rockers Gaupa ("lynx" in Swedish) released the new song Ten of Twelve via Nuclear Blast Records. This and the previous single Heavy Lord will both be on their upcoming ep entitled FYR ("lighthouse" in Swedish - but it can also mean "to set something on fire" or "4"). Originally active during the mid-2000s MySpace era, Eternal Lord made a name for themselves between 2006 and 2008 with their blistering blend of deathcore and metalcore. In April 2007, they joined All That Remains on the Fall of Ideals European Tour, sharing the bill with Textures and Misery Signals.
In 2008, drummer Stuart McKay abruptly left the group just before a scheduled U.S. tour alongside The Acacia Strain, All Shall Perish, and Since The Flood. Around the same time, vocalist Ed Butcher (formerly of The Hunt for Ida Wave and I Killed the Prom Queen) also departed to pursue a career as a firefighter.

Kauan announced a brand new album, Wayhome, due out on November 7 through Artoffact Records. David Thomas, the iconic lead singer of 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗨𝗯𝘂, 𝗥𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗯𝘀 and 𝗧𝘄𝗼 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗕𝗼𝘆𝘀, passed away this Wednesday, April 23, at the age of 71. The news was released through a statement on the band's official Facebook page, informing that the musician passed away after a "long illness" in his hometown of Brighton & Hove, in the United Kingdom. According to the statement, he was surrounded by his wife, stepdaughter and his dogs at the time of his death, with the sound of MC5 playing in the background.
