Death Grips Is Online 18 replies

Rumors circulated earlier this year that Death Grips had disbanded after a tumultuous reunion tour several years ago, but the band have taken to instagram to clear the air with a message:

“Despite rumor and hearsay, we remain active as Death Grips.
-Stefan and Zach”

https://www.instagram.com/p/DILuSRixZjh/?igsh=YW0xZmV0MmQycWth

It appears that Andy Morin AKA Flatlander is no longer attached to the project. It is unclear to what capacity that "remain active" means, although very brief snippets of what appeared to be new music have accompanied the band's cryptic messages and posts since 2018's Year of the Snitch.

It's going to be a little grittier, and it's just different; it's still the same two people, but we're in a different mindset. We feel like we can play by different rules a bit, and the people working on the film were excited about that, so we thought we'd try it."
