Well known Canadian artist and former Juno Award winner Matthew Good has released two new singles from his upcoming album, Zero Hours, titled "Triage" and "Lost and Found Kids" respectively. Little has been said about the album as a whole; however, "Triage" features a collaboration with Saukrates.

California deathcore band Elysia has reunited, marking their first appearance in a decade, with three newly announced reunion shows co-headlined by Arsonists Get All The Girls.
The stacked lineup also features supporting performances from Moria, Knights of the Abyss, Vice In Vanity, and Culprit.
Attack Attack! have released another new song to promote their upcoming reunion album and self-titled sequel, Attack Attack! II. Titled "i complain on r/metalcore", it sees the crabcore pioneers call out fans who resent them for their change in sound.
Following a brief teaser posted at the beginning of the month, indie/alternative rock band The Republic of Wolves have officially dropped their first song since 2023's Why Would Anyone Want To Live This Long?, titled "Heat Signature".
The single sounds like a natural progression from that EP, retaining the key aspects of the band's classic sound (there are enough heavy guitars and shouts to go around) while also adding in lustrous, vibrant chords and an urgent yet wholly accessible melody.

Aussie prog-rock band Karnivool have released "Drone," the first single from their upcoming fourth album whose title has yet to be revealed. In a post on Instagram promoting a tour of Australia, the band wrote:
"After 5 long months in the studio we rise with something new. Australia – we give you the first taste of what is to come."

Ethel Cain dropped "fuck me eyes", the second single off her upcoming second full-length, willoughby tucker, i'll always love you, due out on August 8th. The record serves as a prequel to the narrative from Preacher's Daughter, starting five years prior to the events from the latter. The same month, she will start her promotional tour with a North American trek, followed by a European one in October.
