Hailing from Boston MA, alternative/heavy rock outfit Miltown has disclosed two new songs at the official Bandcamp location of Man Alive Records.

Swedish melodeath legends At the Gates have announced that singer Tomas Lindberg is suffering from cancer.
According to the recent announcement, Lindberg has been suffering from adenoid cystic carcinoma, a form of mouth cancer, since December 2023, causing the band to cancel all their upcoming shows and go almost entirely radio-silent. He experienced a setback in early May, which, according to Lindberg, is another tumor inaccessible through surgery or radiation therapy.
Both the band and Lindberg have issued statements:
"We want to take a moment to update you on what’s been happening with At the Gates, and to do so, we need to take you back about a year and a half.
Below, you’ll find a message from Tomas, written this past March 2025, where he reflects on the past 15 months and the reasons for the radio silence. However, in early May, Tomas experienced a health setback. Since then, he has been hospitalised and has bee ...more

With the exception of a couple collaborated tracks with other artists, in recent years Bad Omens have remained completely quiet and shown little signs of capitalising on their breakthrough album The Death of Peace of Mind, which released in 2022. After teasing new music with a video of Ryan Hurst as a therapist, talking to a boy dressed as a ghost, and "specter - 8.8" in the description, the band has finally released a new single, titled "Spectre". No announcement has been made regarding a new album.

Speaking on the collaboration, vocalist Alex Erian commented:
"We’ve been fans of Kublai Khan TX for years, and having Matt lend his voice to this track took it to another level. 'Over My Dead Body' is about standing your ground no matter the cost — and Matt embodied that energy perfectly."

Released in 2005, the album’s standout track, "Hide and Seek," became a surprise hit with its vocoder-laced a cappella delivery, recorded after a computer crash forced Heap to experiment with a Digitech Vocalist Workstation EX. The track reached mainstream attention via The O.C.'s season 2 finale.
However, it truly went viral in 2007 thanks to SNL’s “Dear Sister” parody, which turned its “Mmm whatcha say” refrain into a meme phenomenon. Funny enough, the skit also featured a young Shia LaBeouf before his Transformers stardom.
