Bello & Shem are back as you’ve never seen them before, as this time, they’re full-length.
Not only is this their first full-length album but it’s also a concept album, telling the story of when they got trapped inside a pocket dimension by an evil unknown entity who forced them to write a horrorcore themed album in return for their freedom.
I’m sure this leaves you with many questions.

Who the fuck are Bello & Shem?
These questions are all valid, but do not worry, all your questions will be answered on Friday 13th June (because how cool is that to release a horrorcore album it’s like they planned it wow), when this album drops in all its glory.

Pennsylvania-based progressive death metallers Rivers of Nihil have premiered their new self-titled album in full on YouTube, ahead of its official release this Friday.
Not content with the success of 2024 mini-album Bucchigiri Tokyo, Japan's harajuku-core breakout stars HANABIE. have released another standalone single. "Spicy Queen" follows from previous single "Tasty Survivor", which was released as the theme from anime series Momentary Lily, and also served as a standalone single. No confirmation has arrived yet regarding a future full-length or mini-album release.
Post-rock emos The World Is a Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid to Die have delved into hardcore punk for their latest single, "Beware of the Centrist".
With a not-particularly-subtle political message, the new song features harsh vocals from guitarist Anthony Gesa and keyboardist Katie Dvorak, along with yelled vocals from frontman David Bello and backing vocals from fellow guitrist Chris Teti. It is not yet known if "Beware of the Centrist" will feature on any upcoming album or be a standalone single.
Ministry have released the latest music video from their Squirrelly Years project, with early era rarity "I'll Do Anything For You" getting the reworked treatment.
Though originally released as an '80s synthpop love song, the music video adds a political twist to the song in typical modern Ministry fashion:
Babymetal have released the latest single from their upcoming album METAL FORTH.
The song, "Song 3", is the third track from the album, clocking in at 3:33 in length, and prominently features third member Momometal, who was born 3/3/03.
Guests on the track are Florida-based Russian deathcore group Slaughter to Prevail, who will also use the song as track 7 on their upcoming album Grizzly.
Babymetal will, after another delay, release METAL FORTH on 8 August.
Slaughter to Prevail will release Grizzly on 18 July.

Phoenix, Arizona's Holy Fawn have released their latest single, Beneath A Lifeless Star. Little to no additional information has been announced regarding an album release, however, the band has announced at recent live shows they have been busy recording a follow-up to their 2022 release, Dimensional Bleed.
Australian dance/rock crossover outfit Pendulum have announced their upcoming fourth album, Inertia. The album is due for release on August 22nd and will be the band’s first since 2010's Immersion.

In a widely reposted takedown, Rody Walker, lead vocalist of the acclaimed progressive metal band Protest the Hero, has publicly called out Brand New frontman Jesse Lacey on his ongoing history of allegations as a child groomer.
At a show earlier this month, Walker claimed Lacey was a "motherfucker [who] was grooming children" and that he "should not be afforded the stage he used [to do so]". This follows the announcement of Brand New's first tour dates since 2017 and is supported by a number of allegations by those claiming to have survived underage grooming and/or experiences sexual misconduct with Lacey in the early 00s.
Lacey's lyricism from the period contemporaneous with that referenced by the original allegations (leading up to 2003's Deja Entendu) has been noted for its emphasis on toxic power dynamics, abusive relationships and narcissism. Finnish melodic death metal masters Amorphis are set to release their 15th studio album Borderland on September 26th. A new single titled "Light and Shadow" will premiere on June 6th.
Swedish progressive death/doom metal band In Mourning announced their newest album The Immortal, which will be released on August 29th.

West Virginia's MySpace-era metalcore outfit Castle Grayskull has returned with a freshly remastered edition of their 2010 debut album To Live as Brutes, now available through Secret Swarm Records. The remaster was crafted by renowned producer and engineer Jamie King.

Scottish post-rock band Mogwai have released their latest studio album, The Bombing of Pan Am 103, which serves as the original soundtrack for the new BBC and Netflix drama of the same name. The six-part series explores the 1988 Lockerbie bombing and its aftermath.
Former The Devil Wears Prada drummer Daniel Williams tragically lost his life while onboard a plane that crashed into the Tierrasanta area of San Diego, CA. Prior to this, he had posted on social media happily about taking off in this plane. Also among the lives lost is talent agent Dave Shapiro of Sound Talent Group, who managed names such as Sum 41, Story of the Year, and Parkway Drive.
Sound Talent Group spoke of the crash, stating the following: "We are devastated by the loss of our co-founder, colleagues and friends. Our hearts go out to their families and to everyone impacted by today’s tragedy. Thank you so much for respecting their privacy at this time."
Williams was a member of The Devil Wears Prada from 2005 up to 2016. His former bandmates spoke of his death this afternoon: “no words. We owe you everything. Love you forever.”
French polka band Igorrr have released a music video for their new single "ADHD", paying tribute to fans traumatized by their previous video "Very Noise". The track is taken from their upcoming album Amen, which is set to be released on September 26 on Metal Blade Records.
