02.12.13 | Hank will act like nothing has happened whilst making 100% sure that Walter is indeed Heisenberg.
Hank will tell Skyler and Skyler will act like she is surprised by what has been told to her. She will then act as an informant for Walt to help him escape.
First episode ends with Walt on the run, in the diner that was shown in the season premier. |

02.12.13 | sounds epic |

02.12.13 | I don't get the hate for Skyler at this point. Pretty much every reaction of hers is justified (especially past season 2) and she's proven to be a pretty smart chick, which is more than you can say about Marie, yet everyone still hates her. I guess that just speaks to the genius of the show and its ability to make you sympathize with a meth dealing douche bag like Walt. |

02.12.13 | I hate both Walter and Skyler |

I don't like he because she doesn't appreciate all of Walt's sacrifices. Granted he's done some pretty terrible things, but in the end, it was all to secure her and their children's future. Of course Walt's ego had a play in the matter, But all of the danger he's up himself through and the moral compromises he's made- that has to account for something not to mention that all the money went to her. And also he treats her well, he loves her, and she repays that by cheating on him and treating him like shit?
Maybe I'm wrong here, but Walter deserves better than that. |
ConsiderPhlebas
02.12.13 | Guessing from the start of the last season that someone's been kidnapped, maybe Jesse, maybe by the neo-nazi dudes. Walt will die in the end, or he'll be dying from cancer. Hank knows Walt is Heisenberg, the book was proof enough. He has to build a case, though, so guess he'll put a tail on him. He was pretty fucked up by the prison killings, so wouldn't be surprised if he's scared of Walt. |

02.12.13 | Jesse is the only character I properly sympathise with |

The only things I can really fault Skyler for is smoking when she was pregnant and maaaaaybe cheating on Walt. I mean think of it from her perspective. "I love you so much I'm gonna straight up MURDER PEOPLE AND BECOME A DRUG LORD." Walt's intent doesn't make it any easier for Skyler to deal with. Yes, she's pretty bitchy, but really, not that bitchy considering what an awful person Walt is.
But again, this brings me to my original point to how well written Walt is as an anti-hero. The show gets us to root for a murdering, drug selling monster. We knowingly sympathize with him despite everything he does. It's really fucked up shit and it makes the audience consider their own moral compass. |
WeepingBanana
02.12.13 | You hardly even know if he's a good person before the cancer though. I mean yeah, he seemed nice enough in some flashback scenes and his family seems to love him, but for 99% of the show, he's a monster. |
ffs
02.12.13 | walt had a brain tumour from the start of season 1, it was all a hallucination |

02.12.13 | Will characters become even more unlikable?
STAY TUNED |
ConsiderPhlebas
02.12.13 | Personally I don't sympathize with him because he was once a good person, think the point is that he was always capable of great things but he let life walk over him. I sympathize with him through the killing and drug peddling because he's getting shit done, acting like someone who believes they deserve a place in the world. Seeing a grown man get on his knees to wash and scrub the wheels of a kid's car is painful, seeing him risk his life and take a stand is badass. The scene in the desert when he realizes he's got more than a million dollars of meth is joyous. |

Maybe Hank didn't think Walt was Heisenberg because he is family. It's hard to think someone is a criminal after knowing them for a long time.

Yeah, you have a good point. It's just that when she had sex with that asshole, I lost all sympathy for her (though I can see 'why' she did it.)
Also, I tend to root for anti-heroes and villains in films- so I'm a bit biased there. I personally love how malevolent Walt has become as a character, the worse he gets, the more intrigued I become with his character. |
