beefshoes 03.14.15	August Burns Red are a fantastic band imo, and they were my first concert (late-2009) and were the best live band I've seen as far as metalcore is concerned. I can't say the same for the other bands, but I've only listened to a few on this list.

There's a lot of terrible Christian music out there just like there's awful kinds of all music, but it's refreshing to see someone actually give accolades where they're due instead of just hating on an entire group of musicians.

Friday13th 03.15.15	These are decent picks, but I wouldn't give any album by these bands more than a 3.5. For 4.0+ kind of stuff, try Theocracy, Neal Morse, Saviour Machine, Extol, Believer, Tourniquet, The Prayer Chain, Larry Norman, and Daniel Amos. The last two mentioned started in the 70s so if you want to get your feet wet with some real old school Christian rock those are good starts.

Sowing 06.05.15	Bottom line: being Christian doesn't make your music any better or worse. Just like with anything, there's talented bands and shitty ones. Of course, there's people who want you to think that every Christian band is awful, but they're wrong. Just like people who think any music with a Christian label is automatically great. I hate to be captain obvious but I've just seen this whole religious music debate way too often lately. Bands on this list for the most part are pretty good.
