06.29.21 | surprisingly none of my stoner friends in school were into down, a lot liked clutch for some weird reason though. |

06.29.21 | No list of a 2000s stoner's favorite albums is complete without Sublime and Cypress Hill.
As someone who was in his freshman year of high school in 2007/2008 and frequently visited a park where people tended to smoke weed in the summer, I'd probably add an album like Aquemini/Stankonia or even a more classic example like a Pink Floyd or Beatles album to this list (probably Dark Side of the Moon or Wish You Were Here in the case of the former, Revolver, Sgt. Pepper, or perhaps even Magical Mystery Tour in the case of the latter). |

06.29.21 | Also, onionbubs is on the money -- White Pony (and perhaps even Saturday Night Wrist) is a great example. |

06.29.21 | why need a stoner friend when you can just be the stoner |
JKing92
06.29.21 | A good point, but it's also good to have stoner companions -- we all need some friends, y'know! :-) |

06.29.21 | Not seeing much “stoner” is psychedelic rock on here. |

06.29.21 | Yeah none of these |

06.29.21 | Agree on APC and Dre -- not sure if Three Days Grace really fits in on a list like this, though. But that's just me. |

06.29.21 | some hits, some misses for me - but I suppose this is to be expected about a generalized statement on a global platform |

06.29.21 | Would throw something by Rush on here, probably Hemispheres or 2112. The potheads that I know and used to know back around this time always loved em. |

06.29.21 | no stoner friend of mine around then was listening to protest the hero cmom |
JKing92
06.29.21 | Not sure what I think the best album to smoke to is overall -- but "Sunday Morning" might be the best opening track you can listen to while hitting the blunt. Makes it feel like the beginning of beautiful weekend morning, even when it's Tuesday evening. 😉 |

06.29.21 | phish? |

06.29.21 | yea idk if that was protest's audience at the time but at least from personal experience fortress goes absurdly hard high |

06.30.21 | I would say sonictheplumber is accurate. Which album is entirely up to debate (most stoner playlists I've scoured -- and even some CD collections from back then -- tended to have either/both A Picture of Nectar or Billy Breathes), but definitely a worthy addition. |
Snake.
06.30.21 | if anybody follows rody on twitter you'd damn well know that it was absolutely their MO to write mxc for dudes who bought high at $50 a G |
Drifter
06.30.21 | IV is great |

06.30.21 | Other bands I vaguely remember from that time are Kyuss, Korn and Alice In Chains.
