"Bane"

Loud and high piched but not chaotic or wacky. What I think makes “Bane” work is the synth like sounds are center stage but some very small percussion comes in too and the volume breaks allow some differentiation. If i was able to pinpoint the exact melody id be finger tapping hard.

"Vordhosbn"

Great tune with some dnb flavor. Very smooth despite the fast nature of the song. While the main body of the track feels consistent, Rich is constantly adding new things and changing it up.

"Can't Do Without You"

“I cant do without you” was a nice chill out track. The song focuses on a simple but catchy sample repetition and an easy drum beat. Not too much to say, but the song is pleasant throughout its duration.

"Windowlicker"

One of Aphex Twin’s bigger songs that I still haven't heard. Song has a lot of stuff going on but never felt overbearing. The way Rich messed around the vocal samples was super cool. The denser/almost industrial sounding last minute was a sweet way to end the track.

"Breathe This Air"

Beautiful song, Megan’s vocals help spice up it up and sound wonderful. The beat gets ever so slightly louder as the song moves towards it’s end and helps the track feel like it's going somewhere. The piano was a nice touch.

"Hope"

A more slower paced and minimal track than the last few. The song’s primary components consist of a simple but soft beat, ambience, and quiet/atmospheric vox. Very mellow and pretty, really liked it.

"Silent Treatment"

The song certainly sounds large and grandiose. It was like taking a trip through some dark sectors of space. The bass was brooding and the vox samplings were haunting.

"Hunting Lodge"

Darker club techno jam with untz’s. The beat here is steady through the whole song and hypnotizes the listener. You almost get lost yet know exactly where you're going at the same time. Song slightly picks up intensity under your nose as it goes by.

"I am a Non Believer"

This one was pretty dirty. Another song for late night dancing and mischief. The fuzzy beat never falters over its 6 minute duration with the exception of a quick break around the 3 minute mark. Some twinkles reveal themselves and a heavily distorted vocal sample rears its head sporadically. Neat tune.

"Deep Sixing"

Certainly has Tipper written all over it. From the slow and steady beat to the organic sounding implementations. A bit more on the dreamy side this time around tho.

"Infotain Me"

The album cover certainly didn't lie about how the music would sound. Very flowery and exquisite. It's certainly an electronic song but physical instrumentation such as violins and harps are pretty front and center.

"Maiz"

Interesting orchestral elements/samples here, gave the track a more solemn yet sophisticated vibe. Started unsettling but once the beat kicked in it got even more interesting. The little breaks with the beat continuing were sweet.

"We Have Explosives"

Bass-y and super fun. The jam is an onslaught of those semi-abrasive wahhs straight out of the 90s that artists like The Prodigy made good use of. It’s like an intense car street-race in song form.

3.9/5

"Discogs"

Burly electronic backdrops but with some lighter sounds and samples in the foreground. Little twang sounding notes pop in and bounce around giving the track some character. Super fun song.

"Sultry"

Vibe’n and chill. The song felt mysterious and very controlled. There’s nothing jumping out to grab you but instead you're slowly reeled in until the tracks inevitable disappearance.

"Abla Redio"

Pretty song with some nice twinkley atmosphere. Slower paced, elegant and relaxing but didn’t quite grab me as much as some others here. The descending notes at the end were nice.
