07.22.25 | Few I’ve enjoyed lately:
Killing Me Softly - Autumn Lost in Silence
Balmora - Prologue
Emma Goldman - All You Are is We |
Emim
07.22.25 | Idk if those first two count as screamo big dog
Ampere - Like Shadows |
Balerion
07.22.25 | It’s funny how divisive and genre bending Sunbather is. I would argue that it’s a screamo record. Thank you both for the recs |

07.22.25 | I’m obviously not an expert on the genre I couldn’t tell you the difference |

07.22.25 | Albums I've really enjoyed from the last 3 years that aren't already on the list:
Blind Girls - An Exit Exists
Birds in Row - Gris Klein
Bloom Dream - It Didn't Have to End This Way
Burial Etiquette - Mis-en-scene
Clay Birds - Bled Out and Painted Blue
Crochet - Birth Piece
Dim - Planted in the Soil
Eudaemon - Spiritual Anguish (more weird proggy black than skramz but it's emo enough)
Febuary - February
Gossip - Coals of Juniper
Heavenly Blue - We Have the Answer
Indisposed - Steadfast
Infant Island - Obsidian Wreath
Journal - Journal
Life (USA-TX on here) - idk he's released like nine things under this project this year alone. Go with Demo Nine imo.
Lord Snow - Have You Heard of the High Elves (Haven't listened because I guess they're rerecordings but if you haven't jammed Lord Snow before here's your excuse)
Piri Reis - Ritma
Respire - Hiraeth
Roman Candle - Discount Fireworks
Silk (USA-NY on here) - A Fenestrated Fantasy
Tenue - Arcos, Bovedas, Porticos
Together to the Stars - The Fragile Silence (blackgaze skramz but you have deafhaven there so)
Tsukihi - Tsukihi (sludge but plenty of screamo) |
Balerion
07.22.25 | Hell yeah thanks Pyro |
Emim
07.22.25 | Balmora and Killing Me Softly both rip but that's so called "revivalcore" not really screamo. Just bands influenced by og metalcore |
Veldin
07.22.25 | Saetia has a new EP!! |
Minushuman24
07.23.25 | I'm Sorry Emil
Lord Snow
Drive Your Plow Over the Bones of The Dead

07.23.25 | bloom dream deserves to be waaaaaay bigger
that album absolutely slays |
auberginedreams
07.23.25 | State Faults all their music, they’re so good I can’t listen to them without getting sad that I’ll never make anything that good
I’ll also second the rec for the very underrated Ampere especially “All Our Tomorrows End Today”
Also Loma Prieta and Beau Navire
And of course the best screamo album oat “As the Roots Undo” by Circle Takes the Square
